Abstract There is uncertainty regarding the risk posed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to pregnant patients. The most frequently used methods, such as single‐shot fast spin echo (ssFSE), often require operation at specific absorption rate (SAR) limits imposed safety guidelines. With introduction of higher‐field systems, will be even more significant for fetal imaging. An electromagnetic solver based on time domain finite integration technique (FIT) was predict SAR in an...

The structure of microvasculature cannot be resolved using conventional ultrasound (US) imaging due to the fundamental diffraction limit at clinical US frequencies. It is possible overcome this resolution limitation by localizing individual microbubbles through multiple frames and forming a superresolved image, which usually requires seconds minutes acquisition. Over time interval, motion inevitable tissue movement typically combination large- small-scale translation deformation. Therefore,...

Measurement of head biometrics from fetal ultrasonography images is key importance in monitoring the healthy development fetuses. However, accurate measurement relevant anatomical structures subject to large inter-observer variability clinic. To address this issue, an automated method utilizing Fully Convolutional Networks (FCN) proposed determine measurements circumference (HC) and biparietal diameter (BPD). An FCN was trained on approximately 2000 2D ultrasound with annotations provided by...

Myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE) is an imaging technique that assesses left ventricle function and myocardial perfusion for the detection of coronary artery diseases. Automatic MCE quantification challenging requires accurate segmentation myocardium from noisy time-varying images. Random forests (RF) have been successfully applied to many medical image tasks. However, pixel-wise RF classifier ignores contextual relationships between label outputs individual pixels. which only...
