Introduction Human cooperativeness is an important personality trait. However, the mechanism through which people cooperate remains unclear. Previous research suggests that one of proposed functions smiling to advertise altruistic dispositions, leading successful cooperation. In particular, studies have reported Duchenne smiles are honest signals cooperative intent because they not easy produce voluntarily. This study aimed examine predictive relationships among traits, smiles, and behavior....
A method to predict lightning by machine learning analysis of atmospheric electric fields is proposed for the first time. In this study, we calculated an anomaly score with long short-term memory (LSTM), a recurrent neural network method, using field data recorded every second on ground. The threshold value was defined, and alarm at observation point issued or canceled. Using it confirmed that 88.9% occurred while alarming. These results suggest prediction system sensor can be developed in future.
This study examined the use of avatars to provide feedback influence action identities, anxiety, mood, and performance during job interview training. We recruited 36 university students for experiment divided them into two groups. The first group received avatar-based whereas other self-feedback after session. Results showed that experienced significantly higher levels reduced happier mood in second Additionally, compared group, rated their better interview. Furthermore, effect avatar on...
Cooperation is essential in social life, involving collaborative efforts for mutual benefit. Individual differences the cooperativeness trait are pivotal these interactions. Previous research suggested that Duchenne smiles signal cooperative intent, and human-like eyes theorized to enhance cooperation evolutionarily. However, relationships between behavior, possible behavioral cues signaling behavior yet be studied. In current study, we explored among cooperativeness, smiling with gaze, IBS...
Cooperation is essential in social life, involving collaborative efforts for mutual benefits. Individual differences the cooperativeness trait are pivotal these interactions. A single-group pretest-posttest design was used this study to determine if Duchenne smiling with gaze and inter-brain synchrony (IBS) during conversation mediates relationship between cooperative behavior. The relationships among variables were examined using mediation analysis path analysis. We hypothesized that would...
Previous studies have indicated that divergent idea integration is an effective way to foster extraordinary creativity in groups. This study posits background music (BGM) may aid eliciting this phenomenon. Here describe the effectiveness of BGM on group creativity, we hypothesized and suggested different mechanisms genre valence attributes would lead creativity. The temporal co-ordination head movement synchrony (HMS) was investigated as a non-verbal cue found significant HMS response levels...
Building creativity in a remote group is challenging, and various methods to improve it have been investigated. However, the effect of real-time feedback system on computer-mediated outcome remains undetermined. In this study, we studied performance 20 two-person groups (dyads) while they engaged alternative uses task via video-mediated communication received cues based turn-taking. The study included three conditions: turn-taking encouragement (TTF), random time (RF), no (NF). To probe...
China saves resources as a basic national strategy, develops circular economy, protects the environment, accelerates construction of resource-efficient, environmentally friendly society. As an important part economy industrial chain, venous industry is not only means and main form implementation waste resources, but also objective requirement sustainable development country. The consciousness citizens' utilization fundamental guarantee industry. In this article, through questionnaires,...
