Front-of-pack nutrition labelling (FOPNL) on packaged foods is recommended by the World Health Organization to promote healthier diets. Our aim was assess uptake of Australia's FOPNL, Star Rating (HSR), overall and HSR score received (0.5 (less healthy) 5.0 (more in 0.5 increments) after ten years voluntary implementation. Food product labelling can support consumer decision-making. Several food labels (nutrition information panels (NIPs), ingredients lists, allergen declarations and country-of-origin) are mandated for physical packaging in Australia, with a voluntary front-of-pack nutrition system, Health Star Ratings (HSRs), also available.
