Structural damage is significantly influenced by the various parameters of a close-in explosion. To establish blast loading model for cylindrical charges according to these parameters, series field experiments and systematic numerical analysis were conducted. A high-fidelity finite element developed using AUTODYN was first validated data collected from tests conducted in this previous studies. quantitative then performed determine influence charge shape, aspect ratio (length diameter),...

The gas explosion in residential building has always been a highly concerned problem. Explosions homogeneous mixtures have extensively studied. However, are often inhomogeneous the practical scenarios due to differences densities of methane and air. In order investigate effects explosions mixtures, experimental studies involving leakage conducted full-scale reproduce process explosion. By fitting dimensionless buoyancy as function height time, distribution model large-scale spaces is...

The recent increase in blast/bombing incidents all over the world has pushed development of effective strengthening approaches to enhance blast resistance existing civil infrastructures. Engineered geopolymer composite (EGC) is a promising material featured by eco-friendly, fast-setting and strain-hardening characteristics for emergent construction. However, fiber optimization preparing EGC its protective effect on structural elements under scenarios are uncertain. In this study, laboratory...

When forming automobile semi-axle using Multi-wedges Cross-Wedge Rolling (MCWR), it is difficult to avoid the rolling bending phenomenon. Thus improve product quality for finding out causes and preventing essential. In this paper, finite element model(FEM) analysis software Deform-3D was used analize causes, giving corresponding measures from numerical simulation of multi-wedge Rolling. Based on experiments, results indicate that seasures feasible. The study can provide a theoretical basis.

In this paper, a circuit model was developed in RF ADS to simulate the coupling effect of retracted whip on PIFA (Planar Inverted "F" antenna) wireless handset application. A designed as main antenna cover 800 MHz band (824 /spl sim/ 894 MHz) and 1900 (1850 1990 MHz). parasitic dual used improve performance especially when is against head. such whip-PIFA combination environment, degrades if it not carefully. The purpose paper present an efficient method optimize position.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) leaks often lead to cascading accident disasters, including vapor cloud release, explosion, fire, and toxic release. The origin evolution of each accidental disaster must be considered when assessing safety. This paper discusses the safety assessment project an LNG storage station in Xuzhou, China. Multiple conceivable disasters due leakage tanks are simulated analyzed using computational fluid dynamic software FLACS. We studied different wind speeds interacting...
