This article investigated the potential of fly ash (FA)/blast furnace slag- (BFS-) based geopolymer as a novel backfilling material. The effects NaOH concentration and FA/BFS mass ratio were explored through XRD, FTIR, TG-DTG analyses. results indicated that reaction products strengths depended on types source materials. Slump, final setting time, increased function FA content. However, increase in content reduced compressive strength microstructure material (BM) due to lower reactivity than...
Blast furnace slag was used as the main raw material to prepare alkali activated (AAS), a low-carbon binder, for cemented paste backfill (CPB). The optimum parameters preparing AAS binders using an orthogonal experiment were obtained. Under conditions (NaOH content 3 wt. %, Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) 7 and gypsum dosage 4 %), 28 days compressive strength of binder 29.55 MPa. flow ability fresh CPB slurry decreased with solid due increased yield stress, while when rising dosage. A...
A novel adsorbent was prepared by fly ash (FA) via geopolymerization and used for the removal of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions. The preparation condition optimized through an orthogonal array test, using a NaOH/Na 2 SiO 3 mass ratio 2.0, alkali activator/FA 0.5 curing temperature 60°C.Then batch experiments were carried out to investigate effects various experimental parameters such as initial solution pH, dosage, contact time, concentration interfering ions on efficiency. The adsorption...
Foam-cemented paste backfill (FCPB) has become a trend to solve the problem of roof-contacted filling. In order time-consuming and labor-intensive disadvantages laboratory uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) tests, hybrid artificial intelligence model which combines random forest (RF) algorithm grid search optimizer (GSO) was proposed for FCPB prediction. Moreover, effects foaming agent on cement hydration pore structure characteristics were studied. The results showed that GSO can...
