Photothermal interfacial evaporation (PTIE) draws the attention of researchers owing to its eco‐friendly approach obtaining purified potable water from unusable seawater. The salience behind this technology ensures an indispensable commodity highly accessible via implementation localized heating principles vaporize seawater at water/air interface, instead excessive energy consuming bulk‐water evaporating desalination systems. significance any depends on component, and photothermal lies...

Abstract One of the biggest challenges modern world is antibiotic pollution in water resources owing to lack effective removal techniques conventional wastewater treatment processes. Importantly, very few commercially available adsorbents are at same time porous, magnetic, and have capacity bind remove particular classes from slurries a selective manner. Herein we report CNS@ZIF67 heterostructure derived adsorbent for pH‐dependent ciprofloxacin (CIP). The materials can be synthesized via...

An effective silver (Ag) -modified zeolitic imidazolate frameworks- ZIF-8 derived heterostructure (Ag/ZnO/C) was prepared using the facile room temperature wet chemical method for reduction of Ciprofloxacin under visible light irradiation. The synthesized Ag/ZnO/C microstructure characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and transmission (TEM) analysis. X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), TEM morphological analysis confirmed existence metallic...

We report a bottom-up one-step solvothermal synthesis of thin layered carbon nanosheets (CNSs) by dehydrating glycerol with concentrated sulfuric acid in the presence melamine. In this synthesis, melamine plays critical role formation thin-layered CNS. This CNS was found to be highly effective adsorption material: its methylene blue (MB) is considerably faster than GO maximum capacity MB at 585 mg g−1, comparable most other based nanomaterials.

The advent of novel carbonaceous nanomaterials (CMs) associated with microalgae paved an alternate way for the bioeconomic production biofuels as well high value added compounds. Herein, we first time, present a holistic approach sustainable biomass and lipid from Chlorella pyrenoidosa, wherein CMs, namely N-doped carbon nanosheets (CNS) graphene (NGS) were used one algal growth supporting factors. Three-dimensions from one: One-dimensional iron arsenate oxalate is prepared, and shown to be reactive, giving rise a two- mixed-valent (FeIII/FeII) three-dimensional structure (see picture). The sequential crystallization provides evidence for the building up of open architectures low higher dimensional structures, demonstrating “life chemical system”.
