Organic phase change materials (PCMs) have gained huge importance for thermal energy storage systems, but their applicability is restricted due to low conductivity and hardness. The aim of this research work solve the problem by developing a novel organic binary eutectic PCM employing paraffin wax coconut oil in mixture (ratio 1:1) soften comfort applications. 3D expanded graphite (EG) was used as filler enhance thermophysical properties eutectic-EG composite formed melt-mixing technique....
Phase change materials (PCM) are being utilised world over for energy storage and temperature smoothening applications. Defence Laboratory Jodhpur (DLJ) has initiated a R&D programme to apply PCM in solving many heat related problems faced by Indian forces during desert operations specially failure of mission-critical components. Under the programme, special organic (Patent application no. 2258/DEL/2007 low melting metal alloys have been developed well tuned diurnal cycle. The panels, when...
The heat packs using phase change materials (PCMs) are designed for possible applications such as body comfort and medical under adverse situations. development performance of rely on thermophysical properties PCMs latent heat, suitable releasing temperature, degree supercooling, effective time, crystallite size, stability against spontaneous nucleation in metastable supercooled liquid state thermal during heating cooling cycles. Such rare the available do not exhibit simultaneously to meet...
The present study investigated the viability of deep eutectic solvents (DESs) to extract dibenzothiophene (DBT) from model gasoline (iso-octane). Tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB)-based DES showed significant DBT extraction capability fuel oil. Furthermore, sigma profile confirmed that all TBAB-based had a capacity for affinity order is as follows: TBAB/TEG (tri-ethylene glycol) > TBAB/PA (propionic acid) TBAB/EG (ethylene glycol). To achieve maximum extraction, influencing parameters were...
In India the leftovers of results regular elastic latex are stored each year frequently wild causing disjoin natural and other financial negative effects. The ecological strong waste like elastic, swim tops, gloves so on can be reused betterly it is useful for what's to come. Numerous investigations have been done discover elective material use as modifiers in bitumen blends improvement its properties expressway quality. Concentrates still today most part centered around mechanical physical...

The large variation in day and night temperature of Thar Desert area provides an opportunity to reduce fluctuations thermal discomfort inside temporary shelters buildings using phase change materials. Melting solidification lauric palmitic acid based multitransformation material (MTPCM) are tuned such a way that it melts during time solidifies passively throughout summer season area. However, the poor conductivity MTPCM (0.2 W m−1K−1) hampers its complete reversal from liquid solid with...
The sample of nominal composition Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ was prepared by the solid-state reaction method and systematically studied for their magnetic properties. phase identification/gross structural characteristics synthesized (HTSC) materials explored through powder X-ray diffractometer reveals that all samples crystallize in orthorhombic structure with lattice parameters a=5.4054 Å, b=5.4111 Å c=37.0642 Å. critical transition temperature (T c ) measured standard four-probe has been...
We synthesized a ceramic superconductor Bi2Sr2Can-1(Cu1-xFex)3O10+δ with (n = 3, x 0.01) by usual method of oxides superconductor. In this paper, we report the characterization said sample Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopic (FTIR) method. This provides information about structural and compound bonding formation for studied in powder form. The sharper peaks recorded spectra are reflecting functional group high-frequency stretching low frequency bending modes. study, interaction between...
Abstract LiNO 3 and NaCl salt mixtures are explored as phase change material (PCM) for thermal energy storage. We developed a process synthesizing eutectic mixture at room temperature found that consists of 88.8 wt% 11.2 salts. The latent heat melting point PCM ~230°C 302 kJ kg −1 . Thermal conductivity composition is measured with transient plane source (TPS) technique value 0.8 W m K used thermochemically exfoliated graphite (ExG) in 5, 10, 15, 20 ratio the to prepare PCM‐ExG composites...
Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are being used in thermal energy storage systems because of their high density, and heat storage/release small temperature range near melting temperature. Such requirements compel to design develop materials with latent fusion for applications. This will rely on characterization understand properties as a function In this work, an experimental set-up is presented measuring the thermodynamic materials, such as, temperature-time response, fusion, specific solids...
Mungbean [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek] is the important source of proteins, minerals, and vitamins predominantly vegetarian Indian diet. It belongs to family Leguminaceae. Web blight caused by Rhizoctonia solani (Kuhn) one most fungal diseases which come every year with different intensity causes huge losses in mungbean yield. The present investigations were carried out laboratory, Department Plant Pathology Acharya Narendra Deva University Agriculture Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya test...
Thermal properties of Acetamide (AM) – Benzoic acid (BA) and Phthalimide (PM) binary eutectic systems are theoretically calculated using thermodynamic principles. We found that the AM-BA at 67.6 : 32.4 molar ratio, BA-PM 89.7 10.3 ratio form mixtures with melting temperatures ~ 54.5 °C 114.3 respectively. Calculated latent heat fusion for these 191 kJ/kg 146.5 These fusions make them suitable thermal energy storage applications in solar water heating cooking systems.
