A demodulation method of an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) based vibration sensor with Hilbert Huang Transform (HHT) is presented and demonstrated. The oscillation frequency the OEO modulated by induced dynamic strain on head demodulated HHT which works decomposing original signal into a series intrinsic mode functions then analyzing their spectra. It experimentally demonstrated that signals can be successfully good accuracy, wide response fast speed certifying feasibility method.
