Angiogenesis and neurogenesis play irreplaceable roles in bone repair. Although biomaterial implantation that mimics native skeletal tissue is extensively studied, the nerve-vascular network reconstruction neglected design of biomaterials. Our goal here to establish a periosteum-simulating bilayer hydrogel explore efficiency repair via enhancement angiogenesis neurogenesis. In this contribution, we designed platform incorporated with magnesium-ion-modified black phosphorus (BP) nanosheets...

Loaded walking with a rucksack results in both gravitational and inertial forces of the load that must be borne by human carriers. The force may source metabolic burden musculoskeletal injuries. This paper presents lightweight backpack disturbance observer-based acceleration control to minimize force. was evaluated seven participants on treadmill at 5 km h -1 19.4 kg load. Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a common complication glucocorticoid (GC) therapy. Recent advances demonstrate that sympathetic nerves regulate bone homeostasis, and GCs lower tone. Here, we show dramatically decreased tone closely associated with pathogenesis GC-induced ONFH. activate receptor (GR) but hinder activation mineralocorticoid (MR) on neurons in hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN). This disrupts balance corticosteroid receptors (GR/MR) subsequently reduces...

BACKGROUND It is challenging to entirely show the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) and accurately diagnose ATFL injury with traditional 2-dimensional (2D) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). With introduction of 3.0T MRI, a 3-dimensional (3D) MRI sequence can achieve images high spatial resolution. This study aimed evaluate accuracy 3D compare it 2D in diagnosing injury. MATERIAL AND METHODS was prospective which 45 patients clinically suspected underwent model reconstruction followed by...

BACKGROUND:Haglund's deformity is an abnormal bony enlargement on the back of heel. It can cause impact posterior calcaneal bursa and Achilles tendon insertion, finally result in pain. This syndrome called Haglund syndrome. The purpose this study was to explore effect suture anchor allogeneic treatment MATERIAL AND METHODS:We retrospectively studied 20 patients with treated from January 2015 December 2016. were randomly divided into Group 1 (the group) 2 group), 10 each group average...

Abstract Background : Epithelial regeneration is an essential wound healing process, and recent work suggests that different types of exosomes (Exos) can be employed to improve repair outcomes by promoting such epithelial regeneration. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) known facilitate enhanced healing, yet the mechanisms underlying its activity are poorly understood. Results We found PRP-derived (PRP-Exos) effectively promoted in vitro proliferation, migration, human immortalized keratinocytes...

The anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) is the most vulnerable in ankle sprains. Most patients recover after this injury with conservative treatment, while 20%-40% progress to chronic instability that requires surgical stabilization. Conventional MRI does not provide a comprehensive image of ATFL. We aimed evaluate feasibility using 3D facilitate understanding ATFL injuries and operative planning.
