The BAB-type triblock copolymers composed of a central poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO, M̄nPEO = 1 000) block and two poly[(D,L-lactic acid)-co-(glycolic acid)] end blocks with molecular weights between 900 600 exhibited an interesting phase transition behavior. copolymer aqueous solution can form micelles PLGA loops in the core PEO shell groups because bridging caused by raising temperature. A possible micellar gelation mechanism was suggested.

The identification of optimal drug candidates is very important in discovery. Researchers biology and computational sciences have sought to use machine learning (ML) efficiently predict drug-target interactions (DTIs). In recent years, according the emerging usefulness pretrained models natural language process (NLPs), are being developed for chemical compounds target proteins. This study improve DTI predictive using a Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT)-pretrained...

Developing an artificial extracellular matrix that closely mimics the native tissue microenvironment is important for use as both a cell culture platform controlling fate and in vitro model system investigating role of cellular microenvironment. Electrospinning, one methods fabricating structures mimic ECM, promising technique creating fibrous platforms. It well-known align or randomly distributed electrospun fibers provide contact guidance single pattern. However, tissues have hierarchical...

Machine learning techniques are extensively employed in drug discovery, with a significant focus on developing QSAR models that interpret the structural information of potential drugs. In this study, pre-trained natural language processing (NLP) model, ChemBERTa, was utilized discovery process. We proposed and evaluated four core model architectures as follows: deep neural network (DNN), encoder, concatenation (concat), pipe. The DNN processes physicochemical properties input, while encoder...

This study aims to develop a method predict thermal sensation in elderly people. To identify the point on body where skin temperature can best people aged 65 or older and comfort measurement model that replace psychological scale, experiments were conducted stainless steel wall finish climate chamber at seven senior welfare centres Korea. The results of experiment with 30 healthy (15 males, 15 females) showed there was correlation between local back hand, upper arm, top foot cheek. developed...

The preparation of thin (∼ 1μm ), mechanically stable, and relatively pinhole-free zeolitic membranes is described. Nanocrystalline zeolite Y (100−200 nm) used as the starting material coated onto a porous alumina substrate. Pinholes within membrane are filled with positive photoresist. Upon illumination photoresist, only light-exposed parts solubilized, whereas photoresist cracks not affected, thereby sealing them. leak properties such were tested using Rhodamine 123 dye, levels about 0.5%...

Implanted material surfaces make direct contact with body tissues to work on its own purpose. Therefore, studies of the surface properties implantable materials that determine cell fate are very important for successful implantation. Although numerous have addressed relationship between cells and surfaces, nonmetallic metallic likely produce different cellular responses because their intrinsic differences in energy, roughness, chemical composition. Moreover, given nontransparent property...

Employing the strategy of quaternization 2,2' N atoms conjugated bipyridine ligand 1,4-bis[2-(4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyrid-4-yl)ethenyl]benzene (L), a polypyridyl complex ruthenium(II) was tethered on surface zeolite Y. Electrochemical and spectroscopic properties suggest that, upon visible photoexcitation MLCT band, electron is localized rather than bipyridines. Electron transfer from to bipyridinium ions (methyl viologen) within observed. Visible light photolysis ruthenium-zeolite solid...
