In the present study, we identified exopolysaccharides of harmful phytopathogenic bacterium Pectobacterium atrosepticum SCRI1043 and characterized molecular structure these polymers. The synthesis target polysaccharides was shown to be induced under starvation conditions. Moreover, intensive accumulation occurred during colonization by bacteria xylem vessels infected plants, where microorganisms formed specific 3D "multicellular" structures-bacterial emboli. Thus, polymers are likely...

The phytopathogenic bacterium Pectobacterium atrosepticum (Pba), one of the members soft rot Pectobacteriaceae, forms biofilm-like structures known as bacterial emboli when colonizing primary xylem vessels host plants. initial extracellular matrix is composed plant’s pectic polysaccharides, which are gradually substituted by Pba-produced exopolysaccharides (Pba EPS) “mature”. No information about properties Pba EPS and their possible roles in Pba-plant interactions has so far been obtained....

Plant pathogens present a major challenge to crop production, leading decreased yield and quality during growth storage. During long-term storage, healthy onions can develop diseases from latent pathogen infections. This poses for onion growers because infected bulbs without visible symptoms lead significant losses the growing season. In this study, we aimed isolate identify Fusarium species yellow (Allium cepa L.) that developed disease The aggressiveness of these strains against seedlings...

Our study is the first to consider changes in entire set of matrix plant cell wall (PCW) polysaccharides course a infectious disease. We compared molecular weight distribution, monosaccharide content, and epitope distribution pectic compounds cross-linking glycans non-infected potato plants infected with Pectobacterium atrosepticum at initial advanced stages colonization by pathogen. To predict gene products involved modification PCW polysaccharide skeleton during infection, expression...

O’zbekiston mustaqilligini qo’lga kiritgach, juda ko’p sohalarda bo’lgani kabi, yaylovlarni o’tloqzorlarga aylantirish masalasida ham olimlar oldida katta vazifalarni qo’ydi. Ayni paytda yem-xashak ekinlari hosildorligini oshirish, tabiiy yem-xashakli yerlarning unumdorligini ko’tarishga alohida e’tibor qaratilmoqda. Oʻzbekistonda chorvachilikning salmoqli qismi qurgʻoqchil zonada (choʻl, chala choʻl, togʻ oldi yarim adir ) da toʻplangan boʻlib, u yerda chorva mollari deyarli yil davomida...

There are “molecular switchers” that transform peaceful coexistence of plants with phytopathogenic pectobacteria to symptomatic infection. These switchers seem be perspective “targets” for plant protection approaches.
