Abstract Large-scale high sensitivity laser gyroscopes have important applications for ground-based and space-based gravitational wave detection. We report on the development of a 3 m × heterolithic passive resonant gyroscope (HUST-1) which is installed ground cave laboratory. operate HUST-1 different longitudinal cavity modes rotation reaches 1.6 10 −9 rad s −1 Hz −1/2 above 1 Hz. The drift length one major limits our in low frequency regime. By locking to an ultra-stable reference laser,...

The third-generation gravitational wave detectors are under development by operating the detector in cryogenic temperature to reduce thermal noise. Silicon and sapphire promising candidate materials for test masses suspension elements due their remarkable mechanical properties at temperature. Here we present performances of cycling strength testing on hydroxide catalysis bonding between silicon. Our results suggest that although these two have very different coefficients expansion, but if...

Fluorescence intermittent dynamics of single quantum emitters in monolayer WSe2 are investigated via measuring spectrally resolved time traces and time-dependent fluorescence intensity trajectories. Analysis trajectories spectral shifting reveal a correlation between the intermittency diffusion. A model an inverse power law can be used to understand observed blinking dynamics.

The influence of the pressure transmission medium (PTM) on excitonic interband transitions in monolayer tungsten diselenide (WSe2) is investigated using photoluminescence (PL) spectra under hydrostatic up to 5GPa. Three kinds PTMs, condensed argon (Ar), 1:1 n-pentane and isopentane mixture (PM), 4:1 methanol ethanol (MEM, a PTM with polarity), are used. It found that when either Ar or PM used as PTM, PL peak exciton related direct K–K transition shows pressure-induced blue-shift at rate 32±4...
