Pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) is one of the most important nut crops in world. There are about 11 wild species genus Pistacia, and they have importance as rootstock seed sources for cultivated P. forest trees. Published information on pistachio genome limited. Therefore, a survey necessary to obtain knowledge structure by next generation sequencing. Simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers useful tools germplasm characterization, genetic diversity analysis, linkage mapping, may help elucidate...

Pistachio is a nut crop domesticated in the Fertile Crescent and dioecious species with ZW sex chromosomes. We sequenced genomes of Pistacia vera cultivar (cv.) Siirt, female parent, P. cv. Bagyolu, male parent. Two chromosome-level reference pistachio were generated, Z W chromosomes assembled. The originated from an autosome following first inversion, which occurred approximately 8.18 Mya. Three inversion events chromosome led to formation 12.7-Mb (22.8% chromosome) non-recombining region....

In this study, the combined effects of dietary Bacillus subtilis (BS, 10 7 g/cfu) and different levels (0.025%, 0.050%, 0.075% 0.150%) trans-cinnamic acid (CA) on fish growth performance, whole body compositions, digestive enzymes, intestinal bacteria internal organ index rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were investigated. Six experimental groups including control group (C), C+BS, 0.025%CA+BS, 0.050%CA+BS, 0.075CA+BS, 0.150%CA+BS) established. According to results obtained, compositions...

Nematode-resistant clonal rootstock use is limited in Turkey. Throughout a 3-year-study (2012-2014), targeted candidates were obtained through hybridization between almond and plum cultivars. Some characteristics, such as strong growth ability, compatibility with other cultivars, nematode resistance, rooting of the cuttings common among hybrid types. In studies, one cultivar (Ferragnes) 2 (Myrobalan Pissardi nigra, both belonging to Prunus cerasifera) used female parents, nigra) cultivars...

Seven almond varieties, Ferragnes, Nemaguard, AB3 (Amygdalus orientalis Mill.), GN22, GF677, Myrobalan(Prunus cerasifera),and Pissardi nigra, and F1 crossbreed almonds, Ferragnes × Myrobalan, Nemaguard Myrobalan (Prunus dulcis nigra AB3, GF677 were used to determine resistance against root-knot nematode (RKN) (Meloidogyne spp.) using DNA markers. Parental lines 316 plants tested with SSR (plgms8, plgms9, plgms19) STS (STS-OPS14a, STS-834b) It was found that plgms19 exhibited 76%, 77.01%,...

Pistacia vera L. is one of the most important nut crops. There are a limited number simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers in literature for pistachio. The short Illumina DNA sequences three cultivars ('Siirt', 'Ohadi' and 'Bagyolu') P. genotype belongs to atlantica (Pa-18) were produced by next-generation sequencing, total 750 polymorphic loci detected silico primers designed. Seventy-nine (10.5%) did not have amplification product they discarded. remaining subjected PCR then capillary...

Pistacia belongs to the family Anacardiaceae (cashew family), and consists of 11 species. Pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) is commercially grown species within genus Pistacia. In this study, phylogenetic relationships among 24 P. cultivars were used test simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers. Within 200 SSR loci analysed in pistachio cultivars, best 25 futher analysis. The produced 203 polymorphic alleles with an average 8.12 per locus. effective number ranged from 2.57 7.60. Averages Ne, Ho, He...
