Taste peptides have emerged as promising natural flavoring agents attributed to their unique organoleptic properties, high safety profile, and potential health benefits. However, the de novo identification of taste derived from animal, plant, or microbial sources remains a time-consuming resource-intensive process, significantly impeding widespread application in food industry. Here, we present TastePepAI, comprehensive artificial intelligence framework for customized peptide design...

Abstract Polysaccharides from Zizyphus jujube cv. Muzao (ZMP) were extracted by ultrasonic-assisted extraction with acidic buffer. The chemical composition and antioxidant anti-inflammatory activities of ZMP evaluated. results revealed that had a molecular weight 89.90 kDa consisted arabinose, galactose, glucose, rhamnose, mannose, molar percentages 4.52 %, 2.64 1.04 0.49 0.41 respectively. Based on Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, belonged to the type I rhamnogalacturonans family....

Members of the sooty blotch and flyspeck (SBFS) complex are epiphytic fungi in Ascomycota that cause economically damaging blemishes apples worldwide. SBFS polyphyletic, but approx. 96% species Capnodiales. Evolutionary origins remain unclear, so we attempted to infer their by means ancestral state reconstruction on a phylogenetic tree built utilizing genes for nuc 28S rDNA (approx. 830 bp from near 59 end) second largest subunit RNA polymerase II (RPB2). The analyzed taxa included...

Abstract User validation is one of the challenges facing ontology alignment community, as there are limits to quality alignments produced by automated algorithms. In this paper, we present a broad study on user that encompasses three distinct but inter-related aspects: profile user, services system, and its interface. We discuss key issues pertaining process under each these aspects provide an overview how current systems address them. Finally, use experiments from Interactive Matching track...

In the materials design domain, much of data from calculations is stored in different heterogeneous databases with and access models. Therefore, accessing integrating sources challenging. As ontology-based integration alleviates these issues, this paper we address interoperability for computational by developing Materials Design Ontology. This ontology inspired guided OPTIMADE effort that aims to make interoperable includes many providers science. paper, first, describe development content...

Scleroramularia is proposed as a new hyphomycetous fungal genus associated with sooty blotch and flyspeck (SBFS) blemishes of apple pawpaw fruit in the Northern Hemisphere. Morphologically closely resembles Ramularia (Mycosphaerellaceae), based on its chains hyaline conidia, thickened, darkened, somewhat refractive conidiogenous loci. distinguished by forming black sclerotial bodies culture, having conidial that do not quickly disarticulate observed Ramularia. Based nuclear ribosomal DNA...

In the materials science domain data-driven paradigm has become focus since beginning of 2000s. A large number research groups and communities are building developing workflows. However, much data knowledge is stored in different heterogeneous sources maintained by groups. This leads to a reduced availability poor interoperability between systems this domain. Ontology-based techniques an important way reduce these problems efforts have started. paper we investigate science, particular...
