opentripplanner provides functions that enable multi-modal routing in R. It an interface to the OpenTripPlanner (OTP) Java service, which allows calculation of routes on large transport networks, locally or via calls a remote server. The package contains three groups for: (1) setting up and managing local instance OTP;(2) connecting OTP remotely; (3) sending requests API importing results converting them into appropriate classes for further analysis.
Structured medication reviews (SMRs), introduced in the United Kingdom (UK) 2020, aim to enhance shared decision-making optimisation, particularly for patients with multimorbidity and polypharmacy. Despite its potential, there is limited empirical evidence on implementation of SMRs, challenges faced process. This study part a larger DynAIRx (Artificial Intelligence dynamic prescribing optimisation care integration multimorbidity) project which aims introduce Artificial (AI) SMRs develop...
stats19 provides functions for downloading and formatting road crash data.Specifically, it enables access to the UK's official traffic casualty database, STATS19 (the name comes from form used by police record car crashes other incidents resulting in casualties on roads).Finding, reading-in data research can be a time consuming process subject human error, leading previous (incomplete) attempts facilitate processes with open source software (Lovelace & Ellison, In press).stats19 speeds-up...

Recent analysis of area-level COVID-19 cases data attempts to grapple with a challenge familiar geovisualization: how capture the development virus, whilst supporting across geographic areas? We present several glyphmap designs for addressing this applied local authority in England whereby charts displaying multiple aspects related pandemic are given arrangement. These graphics visually complex, clutter, occlusion and salience bias an inevitable consequence. develop framework describing...
Background: Population ageing has led to an increase in multimorbidity and polypharmacy. Some medications may need be stopped, but patient attitudes towards deprescribing are poorly understood. This study explores (de)prescribing patients with the UK primary care. Methods: Patients were invited complete Revised Attitudes Towards Deprescribing (rPATD) Questionnaire using Evergreen Life Personal Health Record App (Manchester, UK). The responses linked electronic health records. Anonymised data...
