Pedestrian detection in intelligent transportation systems has made significant progress but faces two critical challenges: (1) insufficient fusion of complementary information between visible and infrared spectra, particularly complex scenarios, (2) sensitivity to illumination changes, such as low-light or overexposed conditions, leading degraded performance. To address these issues, we propose PedDet, an adaptive spectral optimization complementarity framework specifically enhanced...

Aerial Vision-Dialog Navigation (AVDN) is a new task that requires drones to navigate target location based on human-robot dialog history. This paper focuses the critical fine-grained cross-modal alignment problem in AVDN, requiring drone align language entities with visual landmarks top-down views. To achieve this, we first construct Fine-Grained AVDN (FG-AVDN) dataset via semi-automatic annotation pipeline, providing diverse multimodal annotations at entity-landmark level. Based novel...

In this work we propose an algorithm for compressing the geometry of a 3D point cloud (3D point-based model). The proposed is based on hierarchical clustering points. Starting from input model, it performs to points generate coarser approximation, or level detail (LOD). Iterating process, sequence LODs are generated, forming LOD hierarchy. Then, hierarchy traversed top down in width-first order. For each node encountered during traversal, corresponding geometric updates associated with its...

An adaptively refined block matching algorithm (AR-BMA) for motion compensated (MC) video coding is presented. The AR-BMA requires transmitting the same amount of data as conventional (BMA) while achieving much higher prediction accuracy by an adaptive refinement scheme that captures fine variations in scenes. Experimental results show significant reduction errors compared with full-search BMA.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
