Several thermophysical properties (density, refractive index, speed of sound, surface tension, dynamic viscosity, static permittivity and vapour pressure) five compounds classified as green solvents derived from biomass (furfural, furfuryl alcohol, levulinic acid, ethyl levulinate, butyl levulinate) have been obtained 278.15 K to 338.15 K. A comparative study has carried out information regarding molecular interactions structure obtained.
A study on the viscosity of eight pyridinium based ionic liquids is reported for wide pressure and temperature ranges. Measurements were performed using an electromagnetic moving piston viscometer. Experimental data fitted to a Tait-like equation demonstrating good correlations, which was used calculate pressure/viscosity temperature/viscosity coefficients. The effect involved anions cation liquid analyzed from molecular viewpoint hole theory, quantum chemistry calculations density...
A comprehensive thermophysical study of isomeric room-temperature ionic liquids n-butyl-3-methyl-pyridinium tetrafluoroborate and n-butyl-4-methyl-pyridinium has been performed. This paper reports various experimental data including density, speed sound, refractive index, surface tension, isobaric molar heat capacity, kinematic viscosity. From the results, coefficients thermal expansion, dynamic viscosities refractions studied have determined. Results analyzed paying special attention to...
The thermophysical properties of two pyridinium-based ionic liquids, 1-butylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate and triflate, have been measured. Thus, densities, refractive indices, speeds sound, viscosities, surface tensions, isobaric molar heat capacities, thermal experimentally determined over a wide range temperatures. comparison the liquids has allowed us to analyze in detail anion influence. Moreover, useful derived calculated from results. On other hand, influence lack substituent cation...
Within the framework of information society, we are witnessing a paradigm shift in reading characterized by convergence analog and digital supports consequent challenges. In this context, illustrated nonfiction book emerges as format with great editorial vitality. They open works subject to reader’s critical interpretation that move away from traditional encyclopedic discourse towards confluence between art knowledge. As way promoting these books, book-trailer is defined virtual peritext...
The room temperature ionic liquid n-butyl-3-methylpyridinium dicyanamide has been characterized. Physicochemical properties such as density, speed of sound, refractive index, surface tension, and kinematic viscosity the studied have experimentally measured in a wide range temperatures. From results, coefficients thermal expansion, molar refractions, dynamic viscosities entropies enthalpies formation per unit area at temperatures derived. We analyzed achieved results for evaluating effect...
Density, speed of sound, refractive index, surface tension, isobaric molar heat capacity, and kinematic viscosity the room-temperature ionic liquid N-octyl-3-methylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate have been measured over a temperature range. From results, coefficients thermal expansion, refractions, dynamic viscosities derived. The properties are discussed further in terms effect variations alkyl chain length on pyridinium cation.
A thermophysical study of 1-butyl-2-methylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate in a wide range temperatures has been performed. Thus, density, speed sound, refractive index, kinematic viscosity, surface tension, and thermal properties have measured, whereas coefficients expansion, molar refractions, dynamic viscosities, entropies enthalpies formation per unit area at the studied calculated. Experimental results compared with those obtained for 1-butyl-3-methylpyridinium 1-butyl-4-methylpyridinium to...
In this work, kinematic viscosities of binary mixtures formed by an alkane (3-methylpentane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, n-hexane, and n-heptane) isomeric chlorobutane (1-chlorobutane, 2-chlorobutane, 1-chloro-2-methylpropane, 2-chloro-2-methylpropane) have been determined as a function composition under atmospheric at three temperatures, T = (283.15, 298.15, 313.15) K correlated using the McAllister equation. Kinematic were measured Ubbelohde viscometer. Finally, we used Asfour method for...
