In this study corrosion rates of aluminum, copper, brass and Stainless Steel 304 (SS 304) in tequila are reported from potentiodynamic polarization Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. A simple kinetic model is proposed to analyze the data establish a comparison with EIS For examined metals/alloys, aluminum exhibited highest rate ca. 6.1 pm s-1 pitting tendency after being exposed (pH = 3.6). SS was most stable metal 0.28 s-1. The trends for all investigated...

In this research, we are reporting the treatment of tequila vinasse by a coagulation-flocculation process coupled with heterogeneous photocatalysis using two types titanium dioxide nanoparticles, i.e. (1) commercial and (2) nanoparticles synthesized sol-gel. The efficiency in elimination phenol, which is one most harmful contaminants vinasse, was also included evaluation process. were annealed air at 400°C for 1 h characterized X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy,...

Cadmium sulphide thin films were deposited onto glass substrates by chemical bath deposition (CBD) from a containing cadmium acetate, ammonium thiourea and hydroxide. The CdS annealed in air at various temperatures time order to investigate the influence of post-deposition annealing CdCl2 treatments on structure. structural parameters such as grain size, lattice constant, dislocation density strain, investigated using XRD. as-deposited have mixed (cubic hexagonal) phase. size increases due...

A systematic study by cyclic voltammetry, and chemical structural characterization to achieve electrodepositing Cu(In1-x,Gax)Se2 (CIGS) thin films is described. Mo foil substrates from low concentration buffered baths containing CuCl2, InCl2, GaCl2 H2SeO3 were used. The electrochemical shows the formation of CIGS on substrate, reduction In Ga in their metallic form interval vs. SCE Cu-Se, Cu-In-Se, Cu-Ga-Se, Cu-In-Ga-Se described detail. Shows that amount does not increase increasing...
