Adsorption of diphenyl-, phenyl- and orthophosphate on γ-Al2O3 was studied with a combination macroscopic 31P solid-state NMR measurements. Results for adsorption suggest that diphenyl phosphate bound largely as an outer-sphere complex, while phenyl held inner-sphere surface complexes complex present only at higher pH values. Both the edge cross polarization magic angle spinning spectra were consistent interaction between being driven by electrostatic forces. more evidence outer-...
The article gives an answer to the question – who built mud graves in Bosporus? In Russian historiography, there was idea according which barbarians were buried raw graves, them for their dead. Archaeological realities contradict this traditional view. To solve a debatable and extremely important issue Bosporus archeology, examples of mud-brick house-building use burial practice Greek world Mediterranean are given, place time origin tradition building mudbrick structures determined, ways...
Different potassium salts and zinc(II) nickel(II) O,O'-dialkyldithiophosphate complexes were studied by solid-state 31P CP/MAS static NMR ab initio quantum mechanical calculations. Spectra obtained at different spinning frequencies, the intensities of sidebands used to estimate chemical shift anisotropy parameters. Useful correlations between shapes tensor type ligand found: terminal ligands have negative values skew κ, while bridging ionic positive for this parameter. The experimental...
The interaction of acetylene with surface sites SiO2, TiO2, CaO, MgO, Al2O3, Ga2O3, La2O3, and ZrO2 oxides was studied. Two main types adsorption complexes were found: first, formed by weak reversible at O2− basic OH groups and, second, stable the dissociative Meδ+–Oδ− pairs formation acetylide species. position C–H band in weakly adsorbed CC bands strongly can be used for sensitive characterization oxide basicity. measurements performed elevated pressures (10–20 Torr) give information on...
Nitric oxide, •NO, is one of the most important molecules in biochemistry living organisms. By contrast, nitroxyl, NO-, one-electron reduced analog •NO which exists at physiological conditions its protonated form, HNO, has been relatively overlooked. Recent data show that HNO might be produced endogenously and display unique biological effects. However, there a lack specific quantitative methods detection endogenous production. Here we present new method for discriminative by nitronyl...
