ABSTRACT The presence of mcr-1 among Enterobacteriaceae isolates collected from retail vegetables in China between 2015 and 2016 was investigated. Two Raoultella ornithinolytica seven Escherichia coli strains recovered lettuce tomato samples were identified as MCR-1-producers. Similar to animals humans, the gene located on IncHI2/ST3, IncI2, or IncX4 plasmids. MCR-1-producing organisms ready-to-eat food represents a serious risk for human health.

Randomness, mainly in the form of random numbers, is fundamental prerequisite for security many cryptographic tasks. Quantum randomness can be extracted even if adversaries are fully aware protocol and control source. However, an adversary further manipulate via tailored detector blinding attacks, which hacking attacks suffered by protocols with trusted detectors. Here, treating no-click events as valid events, we propose a quantum number generation that simultaneously address source...

Abstract Background Around 20%-50% of Chinese menopausal women experience insomnia, which is associated with elevated blood pressure (BP). Despite this, the population remains understudied. Qigong, a simple form exercise, has been shown to improve insomnia and BP but not explicitly used address symptoms in women. This study aims test feasibility Qigong-based intervention enhancing sleep quality control this population. Objective aimed develop pilot culturally sensitive Qigong Used for...

System suitability testing of chromatography is an indispensable procedure in pharmaceutical analysis, and must comply with rules related pharmacopoeias. An inverse Fourier transform algorithm developed to accurately evaluate chromatographic features versus a standard Gaussian peak shape. The regular chromatogram considered as pseudo-frequency spectrum can be converted nominal time signal by transformation. system parameters width, theoretical plate number, tailing factor noise were...

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is an obesity-related disease claiming substantial global mortality annually. Current animal models of T2DM remain limited, with low success rates in establishing porcine high-fat diet (HFD)-induced T2DM. Our experimental design employed 35 Guizhou mini-pigs to develop a model via HFD induction, aiming identify microbial and metabolic signatures associated pathogenesis resistance. At month 10, five individuals from the control (CTR), (DM), resistant (anti-DM)...

This paper proposes a novel data indexing scheme, the distributed access pattern R-tree (DAPR-tree), for spatial retrieval in computing environment. As compared to traditional schemes, DAPR-tree introduces patterns during utilization stage so that more balanced structure can be provided applications (e.g. Digital Earth warehouse). In this new (a) an penalty matrix is proposed by considering balance of number, topology and load between different nodes; (b) 'access possibility' element...

However, as dynamic range of modern systems, particularly neutron (NFM) continues to rapidly increase, DDEs must also increase their maximum count rate keep up.
