Abstract The Junggar‐Balkhash Ocean was a major branch of the southern Paleo‐Asian Ocean. timing its closure is important for understanding history Central Asian Orogenic Belt. New sedimentological and geochronological data from Late Paleozoic volcano‐sedimentary sequences in Barleik Mountains West Junggar, NW China, help to constrain time Tielieketi Formation (Fm) dominated by littoral sediments, but upper glauconite‐bearing sandstone interpreted deposit rapidly shallow‐water shelf setting....

The final closure of the Junggar–Balkhash Ocean resulted in amalgamation circum‐Balkash–Junggar segments south‐western Central Asian Orogenic Belt, but exact timing its remains uncertain. Here, we use zircon U–Pb and whole‐rock chemical data for adakitic rocks fractionated I‐type granitoids Alashankou area southern West Junggar terrane (WJT) to investigate their petrogenesis tectonic implications Ocean. were emplaced at 313–295 Ma exhibit high Sr/Y ratios 121–229. Background: The impact of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) on endometrial receptivity and embryo quality is a subject debate. Different PCOS patient types may exhibit different effects these factors. This study aimed to identify causes for low live birth rate by comparing among types. Methods: Overall, total 767 patients with first in vitro fertilization (IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment classified into phenotype A (n = 167 patients) D 600 were eligible analysis....

Aim: To date, findings on the overall and sex-specific effects of plasma pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP, active coenzyme form vitamin B6) risk coronary heart disease (CHD) have been inconsistent. This study sought to advance our understanding association PLP with CHD, particular attention paid sex differences effect modifiers. Methods: We conducted a hospital-based, case-control suspected CHD patients undergoing diagnostic angiography. A total 429 cases controls matched by age, sex, operation...

The Baogutu gold deposit (∼4 Mt ore @ 5.5 g/t Au) in West Junggar, is hosted by Early Carboniferous volcano-sedimentary rocks and Late dioritic dikes. Both the dikes mineralization are controlled NE-trending faults. Active and passive continental rifts are generally attributed to plume subduction mechanisms, respectively. However, controversy surrounding the role of two mechanisms continues, especially for mid-Neoproterozoic in South China Craton. Baogutu is a large gold deposit (4 Mt @ 5.5 g/t Au) in West Junggar, NW China. We conducted Re‐Os geochronological study on seven pyrite samples from auriferous quartz‐pyrite veins, which yielded isochron age of 312 ± 11 Ma (2σ). This defines the timing mineralization, and overlaps emplacement diorite to granodiorite porphyry stocks (319–310 Ma) district.
