This article presents a unified computing, caching, and communication (3C) solution for the upcoming 5G environment that will allow service, content, function providers to deploy their services/ content/functions near end users (EUs); network virtually connectivity services over commodity hardware; enable renounce role as passive stakeholders become active ones by offering 3C resources ecosystem. In this direction, we foresee exploitation of peer-topeer- like middleware/app upon installation...
Currently there is an active debate about how the existing cloud paradigm can cope with volume, variety, and velocity of data generated by end devices (e.g., Internet Things sensors). It expected that will be over 50 billion these 2020, which create more than two Exabytes worth each day. Additionally, vast number edge a huge ocean digital resources close to source, which, however, remain so far unexploited their full extent. EXEGESIS proposes harness unutilized via three-layer architecture...
Entity Resolution constitutes a core task for data integration that, due to its quadratic complexity, typically scales large datasets through blocking methods. These can be configured in two ways. The schema-based configuration relies on schema information order select signatures of high distinctiveness and low noise, while the schema-agnostic one treats every token from all attribute values as signature. latter approach has significant potential, it requires no fine-tuning by human experts...
The authors present a method for the design of 2-D zero-phase finite-impulse-response (FIR) fan filters with quadrantal symmetry using McClellan transform. They give conditions that coefficients transform must satisfy in order to avoid scaling proposed satisfies these conditions. resulting cut-off isopotential is shown have very small relative absolute deviation from ideal one. extended FIR general shape.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...
The architecture of an indoor target localization system employing a small number infrared-emitting diodes and sensors is presented in this paper. properties infrared light magnetic fields have already been exploited for position distances several centimeters. Ultrasonic waves laser can be used longer distance estimation if the capable accurately measuring time flight reflected signals. proposed approach intends to cover meters without requiring high accuracy measurements increased...

The Public Spending (PS) project is the first attempt to generate, curate, interlink and distribute daily updated public spending data in LOD formats that can be useful both expert (i.e. scientists professionals) naïve users. PS ontolo
Hazardous waste (HW) in small quantities generated by households is often dumped into the mixed household waste. A variety of chemicals was recorded during a field research presented present paper. Aspects analysed this work contribute to categorisation hazardous (HHW) and quantification them since lack generation composition data noted Greece. Towards that organised Hellenic municipality. Raw were collected; 4.27 kg paint household-1 y-1, found be disposed municipality bins. The overall...
The implementation of a standard cell library based on the low leakage technology UMC 65nm is presented. complete having combinational cells, sequential cells and other support cells. Most exist in three driving strengths, making quite flexible its use. Furthermore, example designs are presented as to illustrate correct functionality library.
In this paper, we present a single-electron 2-4 decoder built using devices. The circuit is designed proper tool based on Monte Carlo technique. First AND gate studied and then the 2-D studied. results proved that was decoder, while behaviour of free energy system (which calculated to be 4.90×10−1 eV) stability diagram verified correct functioning circuit.
In this paper the implementation of a compact static memory library, called CeidMem, is presented. The library based on UMC technology and 65nm low leakage process. The complete having basic cells, sense amplifiers, read/write circuitry data bus precharge units. Moreover circuits are presented their structure explained. In conclusion, example design which uses CeidMem as in chip level one cache, analysed simulated order to confirm correct functionality behaviour library.

In this paper we present NAND gates designed using single electron logic. First the single-electron behaviour is studied and then energy performance of circuit examined. The whole design simulation made a Monte-Carlo based tool. results proved that circuits were behaving as gates, while free study system stability diagram verified correct functioning circuit.
Peer to (P2P) systems, have been identified as one of the main contributors exponential growth internet traffic. File sharing applications such BitTorrent clients, are most popular among P2P systems and tend consume great amounts network resources, stretching infrastructure capabilities their limits. This causes interdomain links be overloaded with traffic, created from content traversing network, which is times redundant. Cloud computing has an empowering force towards alleviating this...
Alongside the rapid expansion of Internet Things (IoT), and network evolution (5G, 6G technologies), comes need for security higher level less hardware demanding modules. New cryptographic systems are developed, in order to satisfy special needs security, that have emerged modern applications. In this paper, a novel lightweight data streaming system, is proposed, which operates alternative modes. Each one them, performs efficiently as three total, stream ciphering The operation proposed...
The application of virtualisation techniques in communication networks is growing response to continuous pressure due profitability stagnation and profit margin reduction. In this regard, the trend Network Function Virtualisation (NFV), which refers use cloud-based software for carrying out network functions, expected modify scenario. EU FP7 T-NOVA project has goal providing mechanisms foster adoption NFV. paper, we present a look commercialisation NFV-based offerings through marketplace,...
This paper presents a method for near-optimum synthesis of Differential Cascade Voltage Switch (DCVS) logic circuits using Ordered Binary Decision Diagrams (OBDD). The presented produces efficient DCVS circuit structures in terms transistor count which positively affects the area and performance. proposed is also very practical because it results with short run-times on design workstation. experimental that demonstrate use efficiency method. basis CAD tool allows automatic fault secure based...
In this paper the design and simulation of a single-electron 2-4 decoder based on NAND gates is presented. The was made using Monte-Carlo tool. results confirmed that circuit behaving as decoder. stability plot free energy history diagrams offer detailed analysis circuit. were compared to similar circuits reported in literature advantages disadvantages identified.
The design and simulation of a single-electron OR/NOR gate is being presented using Monte Carlo based tool. Both the behavior stability were verified while free energy circuit was also examined. results confirmed that behaved as an gate, depicting improved characteristics than previously published single electron OR circuits, achieving really fast operational speed at low power. Moreover, noise through nearly diminished, stable without any present output points.
The design and simulation of a single-electron 4-1 complementary multiplexer is being presented using two Monte Carlo based tools. Both the behavior stability circuit were verified while its free energy speed also examined analyzed. results confirmed that behaved as multiplexer. Moreover, currents through under operating temperature, stable operation was without any noise present at output points.
With the lowering costs of sensors, high-volume and high-velocity data are increasingly being generated analyzed, especially in IoT domains like energy smart homes. Consequently, applications that require accurate short-term forecasts predictions also steadily increasing.
