Global climate change has placed a heavy burden on the environment, with building energy consumption gradually emerging as major environmental stressor. Therefore, conservation and emission reduction in buildings have increasingly become key issues of great concern. In regions hot summers cold winters, envelope structures often use insulation materials to facilitate efficiency buildings. Graphite composite material (GCIM), high-performance material, is composed primarily graphite polystyrene...

The electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate to ammonia (NH3) under mild environmental conditions is attracting increasing attention, in which efficient and inexpensive transition metal catalysts, with the advantages abundancy low cost, play a key role. However, synergistic activity selectivity promotion are still highly challenging. Herein, we developed hydrogel-assisted strategy prepare FeNi nanoparticles via situ adsorption Fe/Ni precursors on polypyrrole hydrogel. After optimization,...

The first chiral Brønsted acid-catalyzed asymmetric cascade allylboration/oxo-Michael reaction between o-formyl chalcones and allylboronate has been successfully discovered, which afforded 1,3-disubstituted 1,3-dihydroisobenzofurans with a yield, diastereoselective ratio (dr) enantioselective excess (ee) up to 94%, 2.5:1, 98%, respectively. In addition, 2,3-dienylboronic pinacol ester was also applied into this good catalytic results.

In laser-based additive manufacturing (AM), porosity and unmelted metal powder are typically considered undesirable harmful. Nevertheless in this work, precisely controlling laser parameters during printing can intentionally introduce controllable porosity, yielding a porous electrode with enhanced catalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). This study demonstrates that deliberate introduction of defect, leads to improved gas molecule desorption, mass transfer, increased...

A linear differential equation with rational function coefficients has a Bessel type solution when it is solvable in terms of Bv(f), Bv+1(f). For second order equations, coefficients, f must be or the square root function. An algorithm was given by Debeerst, van Hoeij, and Koepf, that can compute solutions if only In this paper we extend work to case, resulting complete find all solutions.

The effect of Joule heating (JH) on electromigration (EM) was investigated using copper low-k interconnects. We found Black's empirical EM model works at a very wide stress conditions (I = 0.03 mA ∼ 3.5mA), where the temperature rise by JH ranges from 0°C to 240°C. modeling parameters were be 1.05eV and 1.4 for Ea n, respectively. Extensive failure analysis FEM simulations carried out understand mode various provide guidelines usage JH-assisted test method design-reliability rules.
