SNO+ is a large liquid scintillator-based experiment located 2km underground at SNOLAB, Sudbury, Canada. It reuses the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory detector, consisting of 12m diameter acrylic vessel which will be filled with about 780 tonnes ultra-pure scintillator. Designed as multipurpose neutrino experiment, primary goal search for neutrinoless double-beta decay (0$\nu\beta\beta$) 130Te. In Phase I, detector loaded 0.3% natural tellurium, corresponding to nearly 800 kg 130Te, an expected...

This work presents some flicker reducing phosphors according to the composition Sr5(PO4)3Cl:Eu2+Mn2+, which are excitable between 380 and 450 nm exhibit an emission spectrum ranging from 550 620 nm. Flicker is defined as "the rapid variation in light source intensity" it still a drawback of modern AC driven LEDs, not electrically smoothened by driver. Recently, lot effort dedicated electrical smoothening LED flicker. Instead using driver system, this concentrates on phosphor, emits during...

This work presents a flicker measurement approach to record spectrally resolved emission intensity variation over time in single run. supplies the percent flicker, index and additional information such as color point shift, rendering (CRI Ra) temperature (CCT) of luminaire time. Using this technique, it is feasible derive impact on behavior different activator ions their decay respective luminescent material function Commercial luminaries for general lighting halogen lamps, compact...

Abstract A liquid scintillator consisting of linear alkylbenzene as the solvent and 2,5-diphenyloxazole fluor was developed for SNO+ experiment. This mixture chosen it is compatible with acrylic has a competitive light yield to pre-existing scintillators while conferring other advantages including longer attenuation lengths, superior safety characteristics, chemical simplicity, ease handling, logistical availability. Its properties have been extensively characterized are presented here. now...

LEDs have surpassed incandescent and compact florescent lamps for general lighting during the last 10 years. 1 Nowadays, they show very high wall plug efficiency while providing a good colour rendering index (CRI). However, flicker is still perceivable drawback to these light sources. 2 The impact perception of increasingly investigated its consequences human beings range from headaches over migraines severe neurological problems, including epileptic seizure. 3 Evaluating effects requires...
