Objective To investigate prospective associations between triglyceride (TG) level and prognosis of first-attacked patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD). Methods This retrospective study included 196 newly diagnosed NMOSD from June 2014 to December 2018. Data clinical parameters, including age onset, sex, BMI, blood lipid levels, anti-aquaporin-4 status, serum glucose level, therapy regimens, comorbidities, initial Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS), relapses,...

Autophagy is involved in cell differentiation. We present evidence that autophagy activated during β-mercaptoethanol (β-ME)-induced neuronal differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR) signaling important. mTOR activity declined after being transported from the nucleus to cytoplasm. Using 3-methyladenine (3-MA) and regulate mTOR, it was found efficiency affected.

We examined the association between adiponectin receptor 2 gene and risk of ischemic stroke. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism was used to detect rs12342 genotypes in 300 stroke patients 320 age- gender-matched healthy controls. In patient group, AA, GA, GG genotype frequencies were 39.3, 42.7, 18.0%, respectively. The A G allele 0.607 0.393, control 29.0, 51.7, 19.3%, 0.548 0.452, AA group significantly higher than those (both P < 0.01). carriers 1.786-fold...

Objective: To investigate the effects of levels D-dimer and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-pro BNP) on prognosis patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods: One hundred twenty-four infarction who were admitted to hospital between July 2014 2016 selected as observation group; 100 normal people had health examination in center physical our control group. The NT-pro BNP two groups observed; correlation plasma area infarction, complications death condition group was...

The hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN) is a specific center in the brain that regulates gastric mucosal injury following ischemia-reperfusion (GI-R) injury. This study aimed to investigate whether autophagy-lysosome dysfunction PVN tissues of GI-R rats involved injury, and underlying molecular mechanisms. rat model was established by clamping celiac artery for 30 min reperfusion different hours (1, 3, 6 h). evaluated hematoxylin eosin staining stomach index. protein levels LC3 II...

Post-operative central nervous system infections (PCNSIs) are serious complications of craniotomy. Many factors, including patient-related, surgical, and postoperative affect the survival patients with PCNSIs. Timely effective implementation antibiotics targeting pathogenic bacteria is crucial to reduce mortality. Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) has been used successfully detect pathogens associated infectious diseases. This study was designed evaluate factors influencing...
