Abstract Acoustic sensors with ultrahigh sensitivity, broadband response, and high resolution are essential for high-precision nondestructive weak signal detection technology. In this paper, based on the size effect of an ultrahigh-quality ( Q ) calcium fluoride (CaF 2 resonator, a acoustic is detected by dispersive response regime in which acoustic, elastic wave modulates geometry converted to resonance frequency shift. Through structural design sensitivity reaches 11.54 V/Pa at 10 kHz...

Abstract Preformed helical fittings play an indispensable role in ensuring the safe and stable operation.
Due to factors such as material of strands, environmental temperature, number pitch, preformed inevitably experience uneven heating during operation, which can cause localized softening leading warping or even fracture. Therefore, studying temperature rise characteristics is crucial for safety power transmission lines. This paper derives general parametric equations used...

We propose a compact, high efficient full photonic crystal Mach-Zehnder (MZ) interferometer based on the self-collimation and band gap in two-dimensional crystals. Line defected crystals are used as beam splitter mirror. The interference theory is to discuss output mechanism, compared with finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation results. designed MZ can surve micro-detectors of gas liquid, which may play an important role integrated optics.
