The unique properties and numerous applications of nanocrystalline titanium dioxide (TiO2) are stimulating research on improving the existing developing new synthesis methods. In this work, we demonstrate for first time possibilities extraction–pyrolytic method (EPM) production TiO2 powders. A titanium-containing precursor (extract) was prepared by liquid–liquid extraction using valeric acid C4H9COOH without diluent as an extractant. Simultaneous thermogravimetric analysis differential...

This work is devoted to the study of two new synthetic bacteriochlorins with four and eight cationic substitutes as photosensitizers in photodynamic process. The spectral antibacterial properties these saline solution were investigated. It shown, that aggregation ability decreases efficiency grows substitute number increases.

An electrostatically induced resonance behaviour of individual topological insulator Bi2Se3 nanoribbons grown by a catalyst free vapour-solid synthesis was studied in situ scanning electron microscopy. It demonstrated that the relation between resonant frequencies vibrations orthogonal planes can be applied to distinguish with rectangular cross-sections from having step-like morphology (terraces). The average Young's modulus found 44 ± 4 GPa.

This study examines the electrical properties and layer quality of field emission microtriodes that have planar electrode geometry are based on tungsten (W) silicon dioxide (SiO2). Two types were analyzed: one with a multi-tip cathode fabricated using photolithography (PL) other single-tip focused ion beam (FIB). Atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis revealed surface roughness W in order several nanometers (Ra = 3.8 ± 0.5 nm). The work function values Si substrate, SiO2 layer, estimated...

The thermal stability of black aluminum (Black Al) films deposited on unheated fused silica substrates by pulsed DC magnetron sputtering is investigated. have porous moth‐eye morphology and a relatively soft surface that can be easily damaged mechanically. Photothermally stimulated exoelectron emission (PTSE) spectra the peaks at 180 300 °C, which associated with processes recrystallization occurring these temperatures. total emitted charge PTSE decreases according to power law each...

Nanolayered coatings are proposed for use in microelectronic devices where the size/performance ratio is becoming increasingly important, with aim to achieve existing quality requirements while reducing size of and improving their ability perform stably over multiple cycles. Si-SiO2-W structures have been as a potential material fabrication devices. However, before such materials can be implemented devices, properties need carefully studied. In this study, nanolayered were fabricated...

Silicon nitride (Si 3 N 4 ) due to its good mechanical and electrical properties is a promising material for wide range of applications, including exploitation under action ionizing radiation. For estimating the changes chemical bonds in silicon nanolayers radiation single multi-layer nanolayered coatings on prepared Si subtrate were investigated by means Fourier transform infrared spectrometry. Three main groups signals identified both types nanolayers, at 510 820 cm -1 group broad...
