Abstract Based on 2 minute cadence TESS data from sectors 1–50, we report the results of systematic extraction δ Scuti–type pulsations in 6431 eclipsing binaries with orbital periods shorter than 13 days. A total number 242 pulsators were found those systems, including 143 new discoveries. We examined their pulsation properties based H-R diagram and relationships between dominant period P dom , orb effective temperature T eff . As a consequence, 216 targets are likely Scuti stars (123 new),...

The structures and magnetic properties of nanocompsite Fe-Pt-B ternary alloys were investigated in a wide composition range. A single amorphous phase was formed the melt-spun alloy ribbons with range 0-15 at. % Pt 20-30 B, while ranges fcc-FePt + amorphous, Fe2B L10-FePt Fe2B/FeB phases out amorphous. With more than 5 Pt, crystallized structure consisting nanoscale obtained after annealing except for 0-10 15-25 B. annealed no less 10 exhibit good hard properties. Increasing B propitious to...

Context. Since NGC 300 is a bulgeless, isolated low-mass galaxy and it has not experienced radial migration during its evolution history, can be treated as an ideal laboratory to test the simple galactic chemical model.

NGC 5194 (M51a) is a grand-design spiral galaxy and undergoing interactions with its companion. Here, we focus on investigating main properties of star formation history (SFH) by constructing simple evolution model, which assumes that the disc builds up gradually cold gas infall rate can be parameterizedly described Gaussian form. By comparing model predictions observed data, discuss probable range for free parameter in then know more about SFH M51a. We find are very sensitive to adopting...

This study aims to address inaccuracies in model description and boundary representation due dimensionality loss the commonly-used point electrode (PEM) complete (CEM) for EEG forward problem (FP). To overcome these limitations, this paper proposes a three-dimensional (TEM). Firstly, we devise an extension-constraint framework generate mesh based on structural priors seamlessly integrate it into MRI-based head through two modules: (1) extension module designed extend cuboid containing both...

In evolutionary population synthesis (EPS) models, we need to convert stellar parameters into spectra via interpolation in a spectral library. For theoretical libraries, the spectrum grid is homogeneous on effective-temperature and gravity plane for given metallicity. It relatively easy derive spectra. empirical are irregularly distributed algorithm complicated. those EPS models that use different algorithms used codes often not released. Moreover, these this work, based radial basis...

Globular clusters (GCs) are generally treated as natural validators of simple stellar population (SSP) models. However, there still some differences between real GCs and SSPs. In this work, we use a direct N-body simulation code nbody6 to study the influences dynamical interactions, metallicity primordial binaries on Milky Way GCs’ integrated properties. Our models start with N = 100 000 stars, covering range Z 0.0001 ∼ 0.02, subset our contain binaries, resulting in binary fraction...

Stellar population synthesis is an important method in the galaxy and star-cluster studies. In stellar models, spectral library necessary for integrated spectra of population. However, library, distribution stars irregularly parameter space, this makes traditional interpolator difficult get accurate results. work, we will provide improved radial basis...
