Tensors, also called multilinear arrays, have been receiving attention from the seismic processing community. Tensors permit us to generalize methodologies multidimensional structures that depend on more than 2D. Recent studies data reconstruction via tensor completion led new and interesting results. For instance, fully sampled noise-free can be represented by a low-rank tensor. Missing traces random noise increase rank of Hence, prestack denoising tackled with tools studied in field...

During the acquisition of seismic data offshore, due to complex seabed terrain, ocean currents, and costs instruments, multicomponent recorded by OBS or OBN are usually sparsely irregularly sampled. Sparse sampling irregular missing traces generate severe spatial aliasing, which disturbs subsequent migration processing. Furthermore, collected both in nature. Regarding reconstruction data, current methods mainly scalar-based, treating as several independent components...

We have evaluated a fast and memory efficient implementation of the multidimensional singular spectrum analysis (MSSA) method for seismic data reconstruction. The new algorithm makes use random projections structure Hankel matrices to avoid construction large trajectory matrices. Through tests with synthetic real examples, we find that presented significantly decreases computational costs MSSA recovery without compromising its accuracy.
