우리나라에서 한우 농가는 교배를 위해 KPN(한우씨수소) 정액을 활용하며 도체성적을 높이기 능력이 좋은 특정 KPN의 지속적으로 사용해왔다. 하지만 반복사용의 경우 근교계수를 높이는 결과를 초래하며 이는 기존 연구들에서 근교계수 상승이 번식효율 저하 등의 부정적인 보였다. 따라서 본 연구는 근교계수가 도체형질에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고 및 유지를 위한 계획교배 중요성을 강조하고자 진행하였다. 전국 7개 지역에서 2013년부터 2018년까지 태어난 6,300마리의 도체 특성과 혈통 기록을 분석 대상으로 삼았으며, 도체형질은 출하체중(FWT), 도체중(CWT), 도체율(DRP), 등지방두께(BFT), 배최장근단면적(EMA), 근내지방도(MSC)를 조사하였고 육종가 이용하였다. 도체형질을 분석한 결과에서 모든 도체형질이 2013년 대비 2018년에 향상된 것으로 나타났다(p0.05). 선호도가 높아 사용빈도가 많은 자손의 범위가 넓게 관찰된다. 근교계수와 도체형질 간의 관계...
본 연구는 2020년부터 2022년까지 증식보존된 재래흑염소에서 자축의 폐사율을 줄이고 성장률을 높이기 위해 임신축의 사육형태 및 포유방법에 따른 폐사율과 비교하였다. 사육형태는 개별사육형태와 집단사육형태를 나누어 사육형태에 폐사율은 집단 사육 그룹에서 30.67%의 보였고, 개별 사육그룹에서는 17.24%의 보였다. 성장률은 수컷에서만 유의적 차이를 수컷의 이유체중은 12.06kg, 개별사육 9.88kg의 결과를 포유방법의 경우 자연포유와 인공포유로 진행하였다. 비교하였을 때 자연포유 16.67%, 인공포유 그룹에서는 21.43%의 성장률의 암컷의 그룹 10.54kg, 6.99kg의 11.15kg, 7.49kg의 이유체중의 암·수 모두에서 유의적으로 체중이 높았다. 이 연구를 통해 분만 전 개별사육을 진행하는 것이 줄이고, 농가의 경제성에도 도움이 될 것이다. 염소에서 인공포유의 더 많은 연구들을 최적의 염소 방법을 설정하는 중요하다.
