Terahertz wave has recently become a promising technology in detection and tracking of space targets, such as missiles debris, where higher performance are required. In this paper, the advantages terahertz radar applied targets firstly exploited over microwave-band radar. Although simulation results micro-Doppler effect SAR imaging have shown target detections, narrow beam-width also limits application searching vast area. This disadvantage, however, can be overcome by netting technology,...
We demonstrate theoretically that an optical one-way transmission device can be constructed by inserting epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) prism into a metal slit. Similarly to the junction in electron diode, oblique surface of ENZ is key factor block light striking on it and allows leaving from it. The performance shown numerical simulation based finite-difference time-domain technique.
Photonic Ink (P‐Ink) technology comprises an active photonic crystal that reflects a band of color can be tuned by controlling the applied current or voltage. All individual spectral colors in visible range reflected single P‐Ink material. This provides opportunity to create wider primary than conventional RGB system, given same numbers pixels for mixing.
