A direct, concise, and atom-economical synthetic method for the generation of fused indoles, using a gold-catalyzed cascade cyclization diynes, has been developed. The reaction gave various such as aryl-annulated[a]carbazoles, dihydrobenzo[g]indoles, azepino- or oxepinoindole derivatives in good to excellent yields, through an intramolecular 5-endo-dig hydroamination followed by 6- 7-endo-dig cycloisomerization, without producing theoretical byproduct. Three resulting indoles exhibited...
Chitinase from T. kodakarensis (TkChiA) catalyzes the hydrolysis of chitin. The enzyme consists two catalytic and three binding domains (ChBD1, ChBD2 ChBD3). ChBD3 can bind to not only chitin but also cellulose. In both domains, intervals side chains tryptophan residues, which are located on molecular surface, correspond twice length lattice A model with crystalline implies that residues a glutamate residue interact hexose ring by CH-π interactions amide group hydrogen bond, respectively.

The authors propose a novel fault simulation technique for multiple faults. In order to handle large number of faults, sets faults are represented by Boolean functions, in which shared binary decision diagrams (BDDs) used as an internal representation functions. also dropping method, prime dropping, is efficiently execute simulation. have succeeded simulating 39 million double circuit 2300 gates with about 20 Mbyte storage.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...
This note extends guaranteed cost control based on the linear upper bound to case with cross product terms in performance index and shows that design problem can result solvability of stochastic algebraic Riccati equation (SARECP). It is shown there exists a solution under stabilizability, detectability assumption system perturbations are not too large.
Abstract A new method to prepare diverse fused indoles as well naphthofuran derivatives is reported.
We synthesized C8-vinylpyrene-substituted 2′-deoxyguanosine VPyG and studied the photoinduced reversible E–Z isomerization. When E-isomer was irradiated with visible light (>420 nm), E- to Z-isomerization took place very rapidly, while upon irradiation UV-light (∼365 Z-isomer converted E-isomer. illuminated 365– 400 nm light, no fluorescence observed, showed a strong emission, indicating that could be useful switching molecule.
For an algebraic number field $K$ and a prime $p$, let $\widetilde{K}/K$ be the maximal multiple $\mathbb{Z}_p$-extension. Greenberg's generalized conjecture (GGC) predicts that Galois group of unramified abelian pro-$p$ extension $\widetilde{K}$ is pseudo-null over completed ring $\mathbb{Z}_p[\![\mathop{\mathrm{Gal}}\nolimits(\widetilde{K}/K)]\!]$. We show GGC holds for some imaginary quartic fields containing quadratic numbers.
