Visible-light-mediated photoredox catalysis has evolved as an efficient and mild alternative to conventional organic synthesis. Inspired by the elegance sophistication of natural photosynthetic machinery involving complex self-assembled systems, recently researchers have resorted implementation supramolecular chemistry in catalytic processes with objective achieving improved efficiency for known chemical reactions, well developing advanced methodologies inaccessible transformations....
As the smart grid initiative is pushing for smarter controls, need artificial intelligence-based decision-making tools, such as agent-based programs, becoming more prevalent. However, these tools alone are not sufficient to study behavior of algorithms in simulations. They be interfaced with power systems analysis PowerWorld Simulator. This paper proposes a framework co-simulation two types tools: a) MathWorks Matlab and PowerWorld, b) multiagent middleware JADE PowerWorld. The source code...

Abstract An unprecedented and convenient synthetic approach to a new class of unsymmetrical azo compounds is developed through chelation‐assisted copper‐catalysis using cheap commercial reagents. The reactions proceed rapidly at room temperature (typically one hour) were performed in aqueous medium as well solvent‐free conditions, delivering structurally diverse alkyl aryl good yields. It has been observed that these novel pyridine hinged derivatives exhibit “turn on” fluorescence response...
In the present study, stability of photogenerated, solvent-separated charged states graphene quantum dots (GQDs) in presence N,N-diethylaniline (DEA) has been evaluated a series organic solvents. The results indicate that rate constant for back electron transfer (kBET) from GQD radical anion to DEA cation is diffusion-controlled. As result diffusion-controlled (BET), kBET exhibits an inverse exponential relation (a) viscosity coefficient (η) solvent and (b) average radius dots. An analytical...
Bronsted acid-promoted straightforward synthesis of N-fused tricyclic angular imidazoquinolines in high yields is realized through a succinct 1,3-hydride shift. The protocol operationally simple, scalable, and features broad scope. A photophysical study revealed that these π-extended display large Stokes shifts (up to 158 nm) fluorescent quantum yields.
