Lodging has limited yield and potential of increasing in rice. could be minimized by the mechanical or physical strength rice culm. Silicon (Si) is associated with sturdiness rigidity. Therefore, objectives this experiment were to evaluate effects optimum rate Si application improve yield, growth, lodging resistance MR219, a popular variety Malaysia. Si, form fertilizer, was applied at onset reproductive stage as topdressing. All Si-treated plants showed an increase number tillers, spikelets...
We report the synthesis of medicinal plant, Vernonia amygdalina Del. mediated green copper oxide nanoparticles (VeA-CuO NPs). The presence two absorbance maxima, λmax 1 and 2 at 436 nm 452 nm, respectively confirms a mixture biomolecules surface amalgamated CuO NPs with different morphological features. FT-IR spectra plant leaf extract VeA-CuO confirmed efficient role as capping stabilising agents. XRD patterns approved high crystallinity CuO. purity was corroborated by SEM-EDAX analysis....
The purpose of this work is to present a systematic study related the doping mechanism, structural and electrical properties novel pyrochlores in Bi2O3-Fe2O3-Ta2O5 (BFT) system. with general formula Bi3.36Fe2.08+xTa2.56-xO14.56-x (-0.32 ≤ x 0.48) were prepared through solid-state reaction at 975 °C for 48 h. subsolidus solution formation involved mechanism Ta5+ + O2− ↔ Fe3+. These phase-pure BFT had cubic structure space group Fd3m (No. 227), Z = 4. Their lattice parameters found vary...
Electrochromic devices (ECDs) are that change their optical properties in response to a low applied voltage. These typically consist of an electrochromic layer, transparent conducting substrate, and electrolyte. The advancement solid-state ECDs has been driven by the need for improved durability, performance, energy efficiency. In this study, we investigate varying temperature casting solution polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)-based electrolytes with structure glass/ITO/WO3/PMMA...
In recent decades, poorly insulated windows have increased the energy consumption of heating and cooling systems, thus contributing to excessive carbon dioxide emissions other related pollution issues. From this perspective, electrochromic (EC) could be a tangible solution as indoor conditions are highly controllable by these smart devices even at low applied voltage. Literally, vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) is renowned candidate for EC application due its multicolor appearance substantial...
Red phosphorus, with its high theoretical specific capacity and safe lithiation potential, is a promising anode for lithium-ion batteries. However, challenges such as significant volume expansion, dissolution of lithium polyphosphides (LixpPs), low electronic conductivity hinder practical application. In this study, we propose multifunctional hydrogen-bond enhanced cross-linked binder, polyglutamic acid-tragacanth gum (PGA-TG). The PGA-TG binder not only exhibits strong mechanical properties...
Multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) demonstrate considerable potential for advance pulsed power systems, owing to their high-power density and fast charge/discharge capabilities. In light of the increasing demand energy conservation, minimizing dissipation in storage while maintaining high recoverable densities is essential practical application. this study, building upon morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) between Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 (BNT) NaNbO3, heterogeneous cations (Ba2+, Zn2+, Nb5+) are...
