Five novel metal-free organic dyes DQ1-5 containing a dipentyldithieno[3,2-f:2',3'-h]quinoxaline (DPQ) unit were synthesized and applied in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), where DPQ was employed as π-spacer for the first time. Their photophysical, electrochemical, theoretical calculations photovoltaic properties systematically investigated. All five show broad photoresponse. Especially absorption edges of DQ3-5 extend to 800 nm on TiO2 films. The inserted electron-rich...

Nanosized zeolite beta with a tuneable crystal morphology and size, rich intercrystalline mesoporosity high catalytic activity for low-density polyethylene cracking, was fast transformed from low-seeded, low-templated dry gel by seeding-steam-assisted conversion method small quantity of water; the crystallization is well induced within 28 h at TEAOH/SiO2 0.1 aid 1% seeds.

Three novel metal-free organic dyes (TPTZ1, TPTZ2, and TPTZ3) with an A-D-π-D-A configuration were synthesized applied for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The relationship between the photovoltaic properties different connection bridges of these was studied systematically, showing that a strategical variation on linkage ways dithiophene can obviously affect twisted degree backbone and, thus, have great effect inhibiting intermolecular aggregation. Compared bulky rigid group substituted...

Long-term storage of engineered bio-artificial tissues is required to ensure the off-the-shelf availability clinicians due their long production cycle. Cryopreservation likely choice for long-term preservation. This study investigated effects dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) concentrations, cooling rates, cryoprotectant medium treatment methods and seeding on cell viability a tissue-engineered dermal substitute. The fibroblast was cultured polyglycolic acid (PGA) scaffolding at 37degree C 5% CO...
