Even though whole grain foods have various health benefits, consumers been found not to eat enough of them. Nudging interventions are built on the premise that food purchases and consumption strongly influenced by environment in which decisions made. Little research has conducted examine influence a small inexpensive nudging intervention bread choices real-life supermarket context. An in-store experiment was two six-week periods supermarkets investigate effects accessibility consumers'...

The role of electrostatics in the adsorption process proteins to preformed negatively-charged (phosphatidylcholine/phosphatidylglycerol) and neutral (phosphatidylcholine) liposomes was studied. interaction monitored at low ionic strength for a set model as function pH. behavior trypsin inhibitor (pI = 4.6), myoglobin 7.4), ribonuclease 9.6), lysozyme 10.7) with investigated, along changes electrophoretic mobility through charged proteins. Mean protein charge determined by acid/base...

Many children do not eat enough whole grains, which may have negative health consequences. Intervention research is increasingly focusing on nudging as a way to influence food choices by affecting unconscious behavioural processes. The aim of this field study was examine whether the shape bread rolls able shift children's from white wheat during breakfast increase grain intake. In between-subjects experiment conducted at twelve primary schools in Netherlands, with school unit condition...

We have tested a new type of immunoliposomes which may effectively mediate the targeting enzymes to be used for site-specific prodrug activation (immuno-enzymosomes). The enzyme beta-glucuronidase, capable activating epirubicin-glucuronide (epi-glu), was coupled external surface directed towards ovarian cancer cells. A significant increase in cytotoxicity epi-glu shown when vitro cultured cells were pretreated with these immuno-enzymosomes.
