Abstract The surface of steel substrate was pretreated by nickel plating and Aluminum/nickel-plated bimetal prepared compound casting. After liquid aluminum casted on the nickel-plated steel, it placed in a heat preservation device temperature set at 760 °C. In casting process molten good metallurgical bonding is formed between means diffusion. Subsequently, microstructure aluminum/nickel-plated examined using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS)...
The hot deformation features of HSLA pipeline steel are researched in the temperature from 800 °C–1100 °C and strain rate 0.001–10 s−1 using isothermal compression tests. According to variation power dissipation efficiency with rate, working process map was obtained. exhibits three domains. first area exists 885 0.01–1 s−1. second domain occurs °C–860 0.012–1 third °C–825 0.001–0.008 When specimen deformed at higher lower is more than 0.3, which considered suitable for DRX occur may be a...
In this paper, the Titanium carbide/Molybdenum (TiC/Mo) alloy was prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS). The oxidation process of TiC/Mo at different temperatures studied, and mechanism discussed in depth. focus is on influence introduction TiC particles high-temperature properties Mo alloys. phase composition morphology oxide film were analyzed means X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). results showed that, after oxidation,...
Abstract In this paper, with reference to the composition and properties of widely used H13 hot working die steel, amount alloying elements in steel is reasonably improved, a new grade 4Cr4Mo2NiMnSiV designed. A process was designed wear were studied. SEM, EDS XRD utilized observe microstructure worn surface, products analyzed discuss mechanism. Conclusion illustrates coefficient friction cast gradually increases increasing temperature. Wear mainly caused by spalling high-temperature...
The research focuses on the high temperature oxidation resistance of martensitic heat-resistant steel. A new type steel was developed with addition Al and Cu, behavior at 650 °C 700 analyzed. kinetics curves were determined plotted by cyclic experiment discontinuous weighing method. XRD technique applied to qualitatively analyze surface oxide material after oxidation. cross-section morphology observed field emission scanning electron microscope (SEM) energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS),...
Abstract Research and design of different components molybdenum-cobalt alloy, including Mo-3Co Mo-6Co Mo-9Co alloy pure molybdenum alloy. The weight loss Mo-6 Co at 400 °C, 600 800 1000 °C after 1-hour oxidation was systematically analyzed. Observing the surface oxide layer, it found that vigorously oxidized to form volatile MoO3. As cobalt content increased, rate samples showed a downward trend temperatures. Granular oxides were formed when sample °C; scaly formed; blocky or flaky formed....
A new type of hot working die steel was designed by using JMatPro, and high-temperature oxidation tests were carried out in the ambient atmosphere at 600 ℃ 700 ℃. The heat treatment process mechanism 4Cr4Mo2NiMnSiV studied detail. XRD, SEM EDS used to analyze crystallographic phases, surface cross-section morphologies oxide films. results show that main phases γ α + δ. During oxidation, Fe outer layer Cr inner occurred. After 600℃, comprised a monolayer with an uneven morphology. film had...
