ABSTRACT Due to the growing concern about diabetes worldwide, we investigated antidiabetic potential of Lactobacillus plantarum DMR14, assessing its effects on diabetic mice and identifying safe, bioactive compounds targeting DPP4 protein for drug development through various methods, including in vivo assays, GC–MS analysis molecular docking simulations. The animal experiments showed that after 3 weeks treatment, blood sugar levels given bacteria were reduced by 35.03% compared baseline....
Chiral unsymmetrical dimeric liquid crystals consisting of a cholesterol moiety as chiral entity and substituted salicylidene imine core (with the substituent being butyl or fluoro chloro group) interconnected through an even methylene spacer have been synthesised their mesomorphic properties are characterised. All dimers exhibit enantiotropic mesophases. The homologue exhibited N* phase only, fluoro- chloro-substituted compound frustrated blue phases (BPs), SmC* twisted grain boundary (TGB)...
Banking sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in Bangladesh.Modern banking becoming more complex than before.Evaluating Bangladeshi challenging task. There are so many factors, which need to be taken care while differentiating good banks from bad ones.Sound financial health a bank guarantee not only its depositors but equally significant for shareholders, employees and whole economy country as well.As result this statement, efforts have been made time time, measure position each manage...

Here we report the influence of terminal -F, -Cl and -NO2 substitution on elastic, dielectric polar switching behavior four-ring bent-core liquid crystals (LCs). Elastic constants nematic are key parameters in determining threshold voltage sensitivity to electro-optical response a device. The elastic properties crystal systems show atypical temperature dependence there is no hard-core theory explain behavior. Herein, we report a new type of azobenzene-based unsymmetrical bent-core molecules exhibiting photoswitchability in the liquid crystalline state, solid and solution state mixture upon UV irradiation intense visible light. The compounds exhibited solid-state photochromism exposure to light, whereas reversible phase transitions were observed via both light exposure. Crystal structure analysis reveals basic structural understanding such as nonplanar bent molecular shape, antiparallel...
We report here the synthesis and thermotropic properties of novel short-core hockey stick-shaped liquid crystalline molecules based on 1,3,4-thiadiazole core. Polar switching behavior is observed in cybotactic nematic smectic mesophases for bent-core thiadiazole derivatives. The presence lateral methoxy moiety outer phenyl ring four-ring facilitates formation spontaneous ordering phase via X-ray diffraction measurements. Anomalous temperature dependence polarization cooling explained by...
Non-symmetrical cholesterol-based dimers have emerged as crucial materials in the field of liquid crystal research, owing to their remarkable ability stabilize various exotic mesophases, including blue phases (BPIII, BPII, BPI), cholesteric nematic (N*) phase, smectic phase (SmBP), twist grain boundary (TGB) A/smectic A* (SmA/SmA*) and C/smectic C* (SmC/SmC*) phase. These mesophases garnered considerable attention due diverse applications spatial light modulation, chiro-optical devices,...
Three-ring based BLCs exhibiting orthogonal smectic and nematic phases with antiparallel arrangement as derived from SCXRD X-ray scattering results.
Hockey-stick-shaped liquid crystals are interesting due to their unusual physical properties. Nematic phase observed in these materials have shown promising ferroelectric-like switching, ease of alignment a planar and homeotropic cell, large flexoelectricity, etc. Polar moieties viz. F, Cl, NO2, etc., molecular architecture lead the development permanent dipole moment which turn affects structure Herein, we designed synthesised new series four-ring-based hockey-stick-shaped molecules having...
We report the synthesis and characterization of a new class achiral three-ring bent-core compounds with an amide ester linkage at molecular bend, which are shown to exhibit nematic/phases in wide temperature ranges around room (RT) undulated SmC phases below RT. In contrast previous studies, reported this Communication show true RT nematic phase fluid physical appearance. They strong photoluminescence mesophase found display one-dimensional array intermolecular hydrogen bonding. Furthermore,...
In this work, hydrogen-bonded liquid crystal exhibiting phase dependent fluorescence has been reported. The H-bonded materials were prepared using pyridenyl benzothiazole and alkoxy benzoic acid as H-bond acceptor donor respectively. formation of the target was confirmed via different spectroscopic technique their mesogenic behaviour studied through polarising optical microscope, differential scanning calorimetry 2D-X-ray diffraction. material showed aggregation switching when subjected to...
