The fetal heart rate (FHR) records obtained from 3140 patients were reviewed. Thirty-seven gave birth to an infant with a major congenital abnormality. Fifty-one per cent of this group demonstrated abnormal FHR in the antepartum or intrapartum period. Caesarean Section was 48 and perinatal mortality 50 cent. In record, underlying abnormality fetus should be considered.

Abstract Background Parenteral nutrition (PN) provides intravenously; however, this life‐saving therapy is associated with significant liver disease. Recent evidence indicates improvement in PN‐associated injury animals intact gut treated enteral bile acid (BA), chenodeoxycholic (CDCA), and a farnesoid X receptor (FXR) agonist, which drives the gut–liver cross talk (GLCT). We hypothesized that similar could be translated short bowel syndrome (SBS). Methods Using piglets, we developed novel...

Background/Objective: The Integrated Islet Distribution Program (IIDP) distributes islets from five isolation Centers and serves as the main source of human for research in U.S. In 2016, IIDP initiated Human Phenotyping (HIPP), which provides standardized post-shipment assessment islet hormone secretion endocrine cell composition each IIDP-supported isolation. To date, 276 non-diabetic donors have been analyzed. We hypothesized that analysis this unique resource will provide novel insights...
