1989~94年にかけて熊本県が県下全域で行った地下水の水質調査の結果.県北に位置するU町に地下水中の硝酸性窒素濃度の高い地点が多くみられた.このため.1995~96年度に地下水の水質調査を行った結果.地下水中の硝酸性窒素濃度と窒素同位体比との関係から調査地点を4つのグループに分類することができた.各グループの硝酸性窒素の供給源について考察した結果.調査地点の大部分が含まれたグループの汚染は化学肥料の溶脱に起因すると考えられた.土地利用別土壌溶出液中の三態窒素(硝酸性窒素.亜硝酸性窒素及びアンモニア性窒素)濃度調査の結果.ハウス及び露地畑土壌により多くの硝酸性窒素が残留し.地下深層まで達していた.U町の各窒素供給源からの地下への窒素浸透量を試算したところ.畜産及び施肥からの窒素浸透量が大きく.特に畑作物への施肥の影響が大きいものと推察された.

インプラント治療は,表面性状の改善や埋入プロトコルの確立に伴い予知性が高い治療となってきたが,一方で破折や骨吸収などの偶発症も報告されている.これらについては様々な要因が報告されているが,機能負荷が開始されてからのオーバーロードを主な原因とするという文献が散見される. そこで,オーバーロードと偶発症について文献レビューを行い,偶発症をもたらす様々なリスクファクターについて整理し,考えられる対策について考察した.本論文で整理したリスクファクターを有する患者へのインプラント治療に際しては,インプラント体の埋入以前から綿密なシミュレーション,補綴設計の工夫を行う必要がある.
