In this work, the full piezoelectric characterization of high‐energy ball‐milled (HEBM) (0.6)BiFeO 3 –(0.4)PbTiO (HE‐BF PT60/40) multiferroic magnetoelectric ceramics was performed. The whole set piezoelectric, mechanical, and elastic coefficients obtained. results revealed coefficients, namely d 31 =−41.6 × 10 −12 m/V g =−9.65 −3 Vm/N (at room temperature), as high those other commercial piezoceramics. fact, HE‐BFPT60/40 piezoceramics produced by HEBM showed three times higher than...

This work reports the observation of intense emissions at 2.8 and 1.55μm from optical quality diode-pumped Er3+-doped lead lanthanum zirconate titanate (PLZT) transparent ferroelectric ceramic. Radiative properties were calculated using Judd Ofelt theory, respective values η=0.09 η=0.94 obtained. The effect ytterbium co-doping PLZT: Er3+ samples was investigated in an attempt to increase intensities. It found that Yb3+→Er3+ energy transfer processes, favor upconversion, are detrimental...

The concentration dependence of the fluorescence quantum efficiency in Nd3+ doped lead lanthanum zirconate titanate (PLZT), transparent ceramics, is presented. total emission decay emitting level F3∕24 close to exponential, even for high Nt, due very low probability cross relaxation energy transfer processes among ions. Owing this probability, it was inferred that Nd:PLZT presents lower quenching than other laser materials as Nd:YAG. figure merit ηNt, where η efficiency, a maximum around...

An investigation of the spectroscopic characteristics high optical quality Nd3+-doped lead lanthanum zirconate titanate transparent ferroelectric ceramics was done to evaluate its potentiality as a near-infrared laser active host. Nonradiative losses that could compromise action were quantified in terms Judd-Ofelt theory, Dexter model for ion–ion energy transfer and by measuring excited state absorptions. It verified under low power 0.8μm diode pumping, transfers are negligible system...

There is a large volume polyethylene terephthalate (PET) improperly discarded. In turn, construction industry has been looking for sustainable ways produce concrete. This work deals with analysis replacement PET as fine aggregate concrete proportions 5% 15%. particles pass more...

The effect of the sintering method on microstructural and electrical properties (Pb0.89Nd0.02La0.09)(Zr0.65Ti0.35)O3 (PNLZT) ceramics was studied by impedance spectroscopy. Structural analyses were performed using x-ray scanning electron microscopy techniques. Two different routes employed: conventional hot-pressing methods. analysis provided a convincing evidence for existence both grain (g) boundary (gb) contributions to conduction process. An equivalent circuit behaviour has been proposed...

Abstract Nowadays, the research and industrial interests about luminescent properties of lanthanide family doped PLZT (lanthanum modified lead titanate zirconate) ceramics are increasing. Nevertheless, improvement other in these systems, such as electro-optic dielectric, were not much explored. This paper briefly discusses dielectric properties, relaxor like behavior, extent ferroelectric/relaxor phases a function dopant. The enhanced found for some compositions, doping process is proposed...
