Hydrogels are used in wound dressings because of their tissue-like softness and biocompatibility. However, the clinical translation hydrogels remains challenging long-term stability, water swellability, poor tissue adhesiveness. Here, tannic acid (TA) is introduced into a double network (DN) hydrogel consisting poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) to realize tough, self-healable, nonswellable, conformally tissue-adhesive, hemostatic, antibacterial hydrogel. The TA within DN...

Abstract Bacterial cellulose (BC)‐based biomaterials on medical device platforms have gained significant interest for tissue‐engineered scaffolds or engraftment materials in regenerative medicine. In particular, BC has an ultrafine and highly pure nanofibril network structure can be used as efficient wound‐healing platform since cell migration into a wound site is strongly meditated by the structural properties of extracellular matrix. Here, fabrication nanofibrillar patch using its...

Background Patients with parkinsonism have higher inactivity levels than the general population, and this results in increased comorbidities. Although exercise has benefits for motor function quality of life (QOL) patients parkinsonism, these face many barriers to participation, such as lack motivation, fatigue, depression, time constraints. Recently, use mobile apps been highlighted a remote management strategy chronic diseases. Objective This study aimed evaluate effects home-based...

In human communication, both verbal and non-verbal cues play a crucial role in conveying emotions, intentions, meaning beyond words alone. These non-linguistic information, such as facial expressions, eye contact, voice tone, pitch, are fundamental elements of effective interactions, enriching conversations by adding emotional contextual depth. Recognizing the importance content we present AV-EmoDialog, dialogue system designed to exploit information from users' audio-visual inputs generate...

[Purpose] In this study, we examined effects of modified constraint-induced movement therapy (m-CIMT) and functional bimanual training, when applied to a patient with incomplete spinal cord injury, on upper extremity function daily activities. [Subject Methods] One patient, diagnosed C4 underwent physical for 3 hours task-oriented training 1 hour, per day. This combined 4-hour session was performed five times week, weeks, totaling 15 sessions. Upper measured using the Manual Function Test...

Chatbot research is advancing with the growing importance of chatbots in fields that require human interactions, such as customer support and mental health care. Despite these advancements, still face significant challenges understanding subtle nuances managing long conversation histories. To address issues, our study introduces a dual approach: firstly, we employ Emotional Preference Optimization (EPO) to train not only correct responses but also counter-emotional responses-those are...
