Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are an emerging class of crystalline porous materials which fabricated via reticular chemistry. Their topologic structures can be precisely predicted on the basis building blocks. However, constructing COFs with complicated has remained a great challenge, due to limited strategies that access structural complexity COFs. In this work, we have developed new approach produce bearing three different kinds pores. The design is fulfilled by combination...
A strategy to construct covalent organic frameworks (COFs) bearing two different kinds of pores has been developed. The as-prepared dual-pore COFs exhibit good adsorption capacities for CO2 and H2.
We report the successful application of SFG to detect segregation end groups on polymer surfaces. Two samples are studied: one is polyurethane with different surface-modified groups, other poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) groups. For each group polymers, both hydrophobic and hydrophilic chosen. With surface sensitivity SFG, we have found that [e.g., methoxy PEG or poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) polyurethane] tend segregate in air. However, (e.g., hydroxyl polyurethane) remain bulk so surfaces...
Abstract Fibrinogen adsorption on polyurethanes with different surface‐modifying end groups (SMEs) has been studied sum‐frequency‐generation vibrational spectroscopy (SFG). The results show very protein properties for SMEs the same backbone polymer. binds weakly hydrophilic of a poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS)‐modified polyurethane surface but leaves hydrophobic PDMS part untouched. On sulfonate end‐group‐modified (SO ) surfaces, fibrinogen adsorbs well. However, poly(ethylene oxide)...
Glomalin-related soil protein (GRSP), a microbial product that can be used as bioflocculant, is critical to metal sequestration in the ecosystem. However, relationship between GRSP and heavy has not been well explored. In this study, adsorption behaviors mechanisms of Pb(II) Zn(II) ions on were investigated. Results reveal closely conform pseudo second-order model, which indicates chemisorption occurred after intra-particle diffusion. The process influenced by degree pollution, pH value,...
Medical image annotation is scarce and costly. Few-shot segmentation has been widely used in medical from only a few annotated examples. However, its research on lesion for lung diseases still limited, especially pulmonary aspergillosis. Lesion areas usually have complex shapes blurred edges. requires more attention to deal with the diversity uncertainty of lesions. To address this challenge, we propose MSPO-Net, multilevel support-assisted prototype optimization network designed few-shot...
Like most pieces of technology, mass spectrometers get faster, more sensitive, accurate and in some cases also smaller. Because this last evolution, are now progressively becoming portable. Targeted applications the detection identification chemical warfare agents field, monitoring air pollution environmental quality, inspection explosives drugs, as well analysis gases during space exploration. In perspective special feature article, Pr. Daniel Austin colleagues first summarize different...
We report a linear ion trap (LIT) in which the electric field is formed by fine wires held under tension and accurately positioned using holes drilled two end plates made of plastic. The coordinates hole positions were optimized simulation. stability diagram mass spectra boundary ejection compared between simulation experiment good agreement was found. from experiments show peak widths (fwhm) units mass-to-charge around 0.38 Th scan rate 3830 Th/s. limits detection are 137 ppbv 401 for...

Abstract To evaluate the effect of SGLT2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) on albuminuria, nephrin (NPH) and transforming-growth-factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1) levels in urine low-grade inflammation type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients. A randomized, blank-controlled clinical trial included 68 T2D patients 10 controls. Based urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR), diabetic were stratified into three levels, UACR < 30 mg/g, ≧ mg/g to ≦ 300 ˃ who randomized (1:1:1) receive SGLT2i treatment for 12 weeks. The...
Vibriosis is one of the most common bacterial diseases that cause high rates mortality and considerable economic losses in aquaculture. Phage therapy has been considered as a promising alternative method to antibiotics biocontrol infectious diseases. Genome sequencing characterization phage candidates are prerequisites before field applications ensure environmental safety. In this study, lytic phage, named vB_VhaS-R18L (R18L), was isolated from coastal seawater Dongshan Island, China. The...
In this study, a new covalent organic framework, consisting of tetra(4-aminophenyl)porphyrin and tris(4-formyl phenyl)amine, was layer-by-layer immobilized on stainless-steel wire as coating for microextraction. The fabrication process easy controllable under mild conditions. as-grown fiber applied to extract polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in aqueous solution via head-space solid-phase Furthermore, it analyzed by gas chromatography with flame ionization detector. A wide linear range...
Abstract Associative nitrogen (N 2 )‐fixation (ANF) by bacteria in the root‐zone of perennial bioenergy grasses has potential to replace or supplement N fertilizer and support sustainable production biomass, but its application marginal ecosystems requires further evaluation. In this study, we first combined both greenhouse field experiments, explore fixation effects three temperate feedstocks Miscanthus × giganteus (giant miscanthus, Freedom), Panicum virgatum (switchgrass, Alamo),...
