Injecting CO2 into hydrocarbon reservoirs can enhance the recovery of resources, and simultaneously, be stored in reservoirs, reducing considerable amount carbon emissions atmosphere. However, injected tends to go through fractures, high-permeability channels streaks present resulting inefficient coupled with low storage performance. Conformance treatments CO2-resistant crosslinked polymer gels were performed this study mitigate channeling issue promote synergy between enhanced oil (EOR)...

This study investigated the transformation, bioavailability, and seasonal changes of dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) in removing biofilters (NRBs) treating domestic onsite wastewater. The results demonstrated that NRBs were able to remove 92.6–94.3% DON from septic tank effluent with low concentrations (0–5.8 mg N L–1), comparable levels detected tertiary municipal wastewater treatment plant. Both hydrophilic hydrophobic efficiently removed by sand filters, while additional (0.8–1.8 L–1)...

In order to accurately predict the concentration detection data of ion sensors for animal and plant, this paper proposes a gene expression programming (GEP) based method. The method includes collecting as well voltage timing data; preprocessing all collected obtain an initial sample set; constructing prediction model concentration, which is explicit functional relationship between specific ion. Gene Expression Programming used train evaluate model, trained model. By comparing with other two...

Soil-based passive biofiltration system is an economically feasible technology for nitrogen removal from onsite wastewater. However, the conventional design requires a large footprint with limited treatment capacity. In this study, novel continuous flow biofilter (CFB) adjustable recirculation and pattern was developed wastewater small footprint. Efficient total (80.1 – 97.5%) observed at various hydraulic loadings (0.03 0.12 m 3 -2 d -1 ), (1.1 9.2 g N ) recycle ratios (2 3) when treating...

Abstract Daphnia magna belongs to the Cladocera and plays an important role in water ecosystem. With intensification of pollution, wild population D. has declined rapidly recent years, insufficient molecular markers have limited effective research conservation this species. In research, 30 novel single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) were developed a cultivar 12 using restriction site-associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq). The minor allele frequency, observed heterozygosity, expected...
