Bisphenols may negatively impact human health. In this study, we propose the use of HPLC–FLD for simultaneous determination bisphenols in pericardial fluid samples collected from patients with coronary artery disease undergoing bypass surgery. For sample preparation, a fast, simple, and ”green” DLLME method was used, achieving mean recovery values range 62%–98% relative standard deviations between 2% 6% all analytes. Quantitative analysis then performed by LC–MS/MS on triple quadrupole (QqQ)...

A simple, inexpensive and robust high-performance liquid chromatography diode array detector (HPC-DAD) procedures are proposed to analyse food dyes in beverages, hard candy fish roe samples. An ether-linked phenyl stationary phase provides sufficient selectivity chromatographic performance for separation of 11 sulfonated azo dyes. Beverage samples were only diluted (and degassed when needed) before analysis. Solid-phase extraction (SPE) or matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD) efficient the...

Background: Identification and quantitative determination of analytes released from the packaging material is undoubtedly a difficult tricky task, requiring chemical analyst to develop an individual approach obtain reliable analytical information. Unfortunately, it still challenging for scientists determine bisphenols at trace or even ultra-trace levels in samples characterized by very complex, often variable, matrix composition. Objective: Optimization application QuEChERS/d-SPE coupled...

Plastic pollution, where bisphenol A (BPA) is widely used in its production, has gained popularity. BPA omnipresence and toxicity, especially for infants, led food safety authorities to place restrictions on usage. It the introduction of marked ‘BPA-free’-labelled products, often replaced by other bisphenols (BPs) which are suspected being similar or even more toxic than BPA. Moreover, free forms BPs dangerous their conjugated conjugation less effective infants adults. Considering that human...

The application of RP-HPLC with a diode array detector for identification and quantitative analysis pesticides in sunflower seed samples is demonstrated. An HPLC procedure on C18 RP column has been developed selected from different chemical groups: simazine, isoproturon, terbuthylazine, linuron, captan, terbutryn, procymidone, fenitrothion, clofentezine, bromopropylate. We investigated the possibility expanding scope four analyte extraction procedures isolation plant matrixes high levels...

The search for new substances with cytotoxic activity against various cancer cells, especially cells that are very resistant to currently used chemotherapeutic agents, such as melanoma is a important scientific aspect. We investigated the effect of Chelidonium majus, Mahonia aquifolium and Sanguinaria canadensis extracts obtained from different parts these plants collected at vegetation stages on FaDu, SCC-25, MCF-7, MDA-MB-231 cells. Almost all tested showed higher cytotoxicity than...
