Summary. A biosensor based on imaging ellipsometry (BIE) has been developed and validated in 169 patients for detecting five markers of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The methodology established to pave the way clinical diagnosis, including ligand screening, determination sensitivity, set‐up cut‐off values (CoVs) comparison with other methods. matrix assay method was screening. CoVs HBV were derived help receiver operating characteristic curves. Enzyme‐linked immunosorbent (ELISA)...

Abstract In order to characterize the physical and spatial properties of nano‐film pattern on solid substrates, an automatic imaging spectroscopic ellipsometer (ISE) based a polarizer ‐ compensator specimen analyzer configuration in visible region is presented. It can provide ellipsometric parameters ψ (x, y, λ) Δ large area with lateral resolution some microns. A SiO 2 stepped layers used demonstrate function ISE which shows potential application thin film devices such as high‐throughput...

The concept of biosensor with imaging ellipsometry was proposed about ten years ago. It has become an automatic analysis technique for protein detection merits label-free, multi-protein analysis, and real-time interaction process, etc. Its principle, related units, such as micro-array, micro-fluidic bio-molecule cell, sampling unit calibration quantitative well its applications in biomedicine field are presented here.

Abstract An auto‐focusing method based on the image brightness gradient sharpness function is presented for imaging ellipsometry system, in which plane of thin‐film specimen not perpendicular to optical axis. The clear a with large area obtained by moving sensor axis direction and around its sensitive surface centre successively. experimental results demonstrate feasibility. The observations of very-high-energy (VHE, E > 100 GeV) gamma rays provide an important probe to study the gamma-ray sources, bursts, and AGN. Ground-based extensive-air-shower (EAS) array charged particle detectors plays a key role in VHE due large active area, high duty cycle, wide field view. However, effective detection threshold existing EAS experiments is limited 500 GeV $\sim$ 1 TeV because low efficiency poor gamma/hadron separation energy region below TeV. To extend GeV, site has be...

Abstract Usually structural relaxation would lead to embrittlement in metallic glasses (MGs). Here, we show that rejuvenation of relaxed MGs is achieved simply by a thermal exposure at temperature higher than the annealing (but below glass transition temperature). The effect driven enthalpy (an endothermic reaction upon heating MGs). This lifts energy state towards as-cast glass. Importantly, demonstrate plasticity and fracture toughness rejuvenated samples exceed those state. An analysis...
