Summary. A case is presented in which pulp capping was performed on a right first mandibular primary molar 7‐year‐old male patient. An alkaline cement powder based mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) used for capping. There were no pathological findings either radiograph taken after one year or clinical examination 18 months, and the remained vital with MTA. Further investigation of MTA direct teeth should be performed.
