Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) nanocomposites incorporated with polydopamine functionalized graphene nanoplatelet (PDA-GNP) were prepared by in situ polymerization. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results indicated that the addition of PDA-GNP could promote formation hydrogen bonding and microphase separation. The microstructure obtained from small-angle neutron scattering increased number while significantly it decreased size hard microdomains. Scanning electron microscopy...
This study investigated the effects of solvent vapor annealing on microphase separation structure polyurethane (PU) using small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and complementary techniques. Solvent annealing, as an alternative to thermal offers a lower-temperature method refine microstructure PU. We examined impact methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), acetone toluene vapors commercial polyether PU, focusing changes in structure, adsorption kinetics stability. The SAXS data, analyzed by polydisperse...
ABSTRACT A series of highly thermostable epoxy foams with diglycidyl ether bisphenol‐A and bisphenol‐S resin (DGEBA/DGEBS), 4,4′‐diaminodiphenyl sulfone (DDS) as curing agent have been successfully prepared through a two‐step process. Dynamic steady shear rheological measurements the DGEBA/DGEBS/DDS reacting mixture are performed. The results indicate all samples present an extremely rapid increase in viscosities after critical time. gel time measured by crossover tan δ is independent...
Background: Little is known regarding the impact of socioeconomic factors on use evidence-based therapies and outcomes in patients with heart failure reduced ejection fraction across Asia. Methods: We investigated association both patient-level (household income, education levels) country-level (regional income level by World Bank classification, disparity Gini index) indicators guideline-directed therapy clinical (composite 1-year mortality or HF hospitalization, quality life) prospective...
Abstract Poly(ethylene oxide)‐grafted multiwall carbon nanotubes (PEO‐ graft ‐MWCNT) were successfully prepared by a ring‐opening polymerization of ethylene oxide. Thermogravimetric analysis results indicated that the amount grafted PEO polymer was about 40.0 wt%. Rigid polyurethane foams (PUFs) filled with MWCNTs and PEO‐ ‐MWCNT also fabricated to investigate influence interfacial layer on foaming process, morphology mechanical properties PUF. The had limited impact viscosity viscoelastic...
A new type of cyanate (CE)/epoxy (EP) foam with bisphenol-A dicyanate ester prepolymer and diglycidyl ether (BADCy/DGEBA) has been successfully prepared through a two-step process. The structure properties CE/EP were studied. results reveal that the foams, relatively uniform cell structure, composed closed cells as confirmed by scanning electron microscopy. compressive strength increased from 0.507 MPa to 3.021 MPa, modulus ( E) 15 123 density 0.103 g cm −3 0.305 . Dynamic mechanical...
ABSTRACT Poly(propylene oxide) (PPO)‐grafted nanosilica (NS)/polyurethane foam (PUF) composites were synthesized by a ring‐opening polymerization catalytic process and reaction‐molding technology. The raw NS PPO–NS characterized Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, transmission electron microscopy. Scanning microscopy, dynamic mechanical compressive strength tests used to compare the morphology thermal properties of PPO–NS/PUF NS/PUF with series filler...
