The structure and phase composition of coatings formed on the surface EP648 alloy were studied using hot-dip aluminizing method with subsequent heat treatment. Abstract The diffusion interaction at the interlayer boundary of Cr15Al5 alloy during aluminizing by hot-dip in a molten bath AK12M2 silumin is investigated. It shown that subsequent heat treatment 1000 °C leads to formation on surface coating variable composition based iron aluminides FeAl(Cr, Si) / Fe 3 Al(Cr, Fe(Al, Cr, Si). Grain growth and decrease density carbide inclusions with their segregation along grain boundaries ensures its microhardness compared as-received condition from 2.1 1.6 GPa.
