Garnet-type Ta-substituted Li7La3Zr2O12 materials attract considerable attention as solid electrolytes for use in future oxide-based all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries owing to their superior ionic conductivity and chemical electrochemical stabilities. However, high-temperature sintering above 1000 °C, which is needed realize high conductivity, results the formation of insulating interface impurities at electrode-electrolyte interface. Herein, low-temperature Li6.5La3Zr1.5Ta0.5O12 (LLZT)...

We have studied the epitaxial growth of perovskite manganite LaMnO3 (LMO) on SrTiO3(100) and LaAlO3(100) substrates by means chemical solution deposition assisted pulsed UV laser irradiation, termed excimer laser-assisted metal organic (ELAMOD). Cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy observations revealed that LMO was crystallized from a coated amorphous matrix preferentially grown substrate surface. In this process, optical absorbance for irradiated plays an essential role...

For making a photoinduced crystal growth method more universal, we have investigated the key parameters for polycrystalline nucleation from an amorphous matrix of LaMnO3 with focus on pulsed photothermal heating time under excimer laser irradiation. We clearly demonstrated that effective annealing (teff) was very important crystallization The teff is defined as in which temperature at film surface increases over LaMnO3. threshold value initial evaluated to be approximately 60 ns this material.

Hole trap levels in a Mg-doped GaN grown by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) are studied with deep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS). The Mg concentration of the sample was 4.8×1019 cm−3, but hole as low 1.3×1017 cm−3 at room temperature. DLTS spectrum has dominant peak D1 activation energy 0.41±0.05 eV, accompanied two additional peaks energies 0.49±0.09 eV(D2) and 0.59±0.05 eV(D3). It found that consists five peaks, each which different capture cross section. A relevant model for...
